Old Original International Harvester Type M Hit Miss Gas Engine Serial Tag Oiler
This is an International Harvester Type M serial tag. This tag shows it fitting an engine with a 1-1/2" Wyco magneto on it. It looks like it is in pretty rough shape. Antique New Holland Model 021 Hit and Miss Engine 1 1/2 HP Steam Oiler Vintage
Presented for your consideration is this New Holland hit and miss engine. This engine is a New Holland Machine Co. New Holland PA Model 021, true 1 1/2 hp, Speed 100 to 400 RPM. It is in excellent condition. This engine was done by K&J Machine Ship in August of 2003. It has only been run a few times and is free of defects. This engine has no cracks, breaks or welds that I can find anywhere. The green battery box is included, and will go with the engine. This engine measures approximately 20" long x 15" tall. A nice piece this engine would look fantastic in any collection. Local pickup is available and free in Jamestown Indiana. Up for auction is a vintage Lunkenheimer paragon engine oiled. It is in good clean shape. The glass is in great shape. And the rest of the oiler as well. There is a patent date on the top of the lid of 1902 and also on the tightening nut section at the bottom. It is jan 31st 1905 It is a model 1 1/2 paragon. This oiler has something have never seen before on an oiler. Old IHC 1hp Mogul M Hit Miss Gas Engine Brass Cylinder Oiler Steam Magneto
This is an original cylinder oiler for an International Harvester Mogul or Type M gas engine. It's in excellent condition and only needs some minor cleaning. It has very little wear or wrench marks on the hex and everything seems to work as it should with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs. It needs a new top glass which is available quite inexpensively from several of the hobby suppliers. It has the original checkball in the base and the 3/8 inch NPT threads look great. It measures about 1 3/4 inches in diameter and about 5 1/8 inches tall and would work on a 1, 1 3/4, or 2 1/2hp Mogul or a 1 1/2 or 3hp M engine. It would look the best on a 1hp Mogul or a Mogul Jr as this is the smallest oiler made in this style. These oilers are getting harder to find every day! The pictures tell the story. 1880s POWELL Pilgram"00" Engine Oiler ~ Sweet. A++ Old Technology Associates Presents After 1901 the Pilgrim engine oilers had flat right-angle tops and bottoms. With a very slight lip. Note in the last photo, a Powell 1885 US Patent for a different oiler, but with the same scalloped profile to the top and bottom. This was the smallest of 9 sizes for this oiler, it features: 1" outside glass diameter, 1/3 oz. capacity and a 1/8 npt thread. This is a pretty nice D.T. Williams Topaz swingtop oiler. It has cracked glass which is available from several of the hobby suppliers rather inexpensively. no check ball or vent tube. The filler cover is intact, threads are good, and the hexes are a bit rounded. It measures about 7" long, about 3-3/8" in diameter, and the pipe thread is 1/2" If this is what you've been needing, don't take a chance and pass it up! Vintage Gits Bros Machine or Engine Oiler - Glass - Chicago
Offered is this vintage"oiler" attachment for a machine(perhaps hit and miss engine? Identified on the glass container with"Gits Bros- Chicago" embossed in the glass. Glass reservoir screws into a metal base that has a tube that releases the oil. This base is hinged and leads to a tapered pipe thread. Not sure of the size but it about 1/2 inch for the outside to outside measurement. Looks like a quarter/18 NPT. Overall the entire piece is 3 3/16 inches long. In good condition but the inside of the metal piece needs cleaning as there is some white powder(oxidation residue? on the metal casting. This is an original brass armature cover for a Wico EK magneto. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. All of the mounting tabs are on it and the only flaws it has are some VERY light dents on the bottom of it. It is ready to be used on a magneto.
