I included many photos its condition. Both upper and lower glass are in good shape with no cracks or breaks. As can be seen the ball check is missing. It dosen't take much to replace, with a couple of items from your local hardware. This is a nice large impressive oiler with great patina for use on an early original condition engine. This is a nice vintage brass and glass GITS BROS. Gravity Feed Oiler. The mounting is 3/8 NPT 18 pipe thread. It measures 2 1/4 inches across and 5 1/2 inches high. The glass reservoir measures 2 in. x 2 in. The oiler is complete and still retains the label on the inside of the glass. Made by Gits Bros. Mfg. Co. of Chicago. It states that the patent was applied for. The oiler is in good condition.

This appears to be some type of engine oiler. I don't know anything about it. As I got it for a steampunk project, and it ended up not being used. Just enough to give it character. It measures 7" in total length. The body measures 2 3/4" in length by 2 1/2" high to the top of the plunger. It has a steel body with a brass filler cap with a nice old patina. There is a capital"N" stamped in the bottom of the base. The glass is 3/16" thick, 1 11/16" dia. and 1 1/2" long, as seen in pics. the glass has a small chip in the bottom edge, dont know if it would seal with a new gasket, could be cut or ground down, or simply replaced, the top cap is in good condition, the bottom cap has a small ding in the edge which is more than likely what chipped the glass, still a good usuable part, being sold as is. Old JOHN DEERE E 1 1/2hp Hit Miss Gas Engine Magneto Gear Steam Tractor Oiler
This is a nice original cast iron magneto gear for a 1 1/2hp John Deere Type E hit and miss gas engine. It is part number E76R and is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. All of the teeth are like new and it almost looks like has never been used. If you need one for a restoration or just for a spare on the shelf, they don't get much nicer than this one. The pictures tell the story. The gear that you receive may not look exactly like the one in the pictures. The part number may be stamped and not raised but it is an authentic, original gear and in perfect condition like the pictured one. 1 1/2 Lunkenheimer Paragon Oiler / Hit and Miss / Gas Engine / Steam Traction
Here is a 1 1/2 Lunkenheimer Paragon Oiler. On the top cap it reads. The Lunkenheimer Co. Cin O. Paragon No. 1 1/2 Patented Jan 21,1902. The top glass is 1 3/4" X 1 3/4" The overall condition is good with no chips or cracks on both top and bottom glass, but it does have some minor wrench marks here and there on the oiler. It has brand new gaskets for the top glass. Overall height is 6 1/2" and it has 1/4" connecting threads that are in good shape. Nice oiler to put on your hit and miss engine or to display. Up for auction is a used antique oiler can. Marked Cannon Oiler- MD by R.E. Bloomer- Kiethsburg ILL. USA Stamped- Size No.3 This oiler is in nice condition. Oil can is not bent, pump moves in and out ok, oil cap looks fine. The end of the tube is broken off as you can see in the picture. Measures about 24 inches tall- 4 inches in diameter. These were used on railroad engines- cars- industry- factory- shops- ect. Great for the train collector- the oil man- general collector. This item has oil and oil residue on it- working condition unknown. Selling as a collectable only. This item has not been cleaned.

One of the plastic view glasses has a small nick along its rim. The spring controlled off-on switch are all good. The springs on the oil cap are all good. There is an extra off-on switch mechanism. Lonergan hit miss gas engine Cream separator drip oiler early style de laval
Here I have for your consideration. A fine example of a hard to find Lonergan Drip oiler for a Cream separator or hit miss engine. Has what I believe to be the earlier twist style top rather than the normal flip up top. The glass is there and in great shape with no cracks or chips top and bottom. The nickle plating appears to be pretty nice still from what I can see. I have not cleaned anything on this oiler. The threads on the bottom look to be a little boogered up but could maybe be salvaged. Don't miss your chance at this oiler as they do not come up for sale often.
