This is a nice brass American Injector Company oiler. It has the glass on the top and bottom. No check ball, but there is a vent tube. The filler cover is intact, threads are good, and the hexes are good. It measures about 5-7/8" long and about 1-7/8" in diameter. penberthy 3/4" steam boiler injector complete with unions and jets
Penberthy 3/4" injector complete with the three union connections and all internals. This injector has a drain valve built in to the bottom plug. As you can see in the photos. In one photo you can see the steam jet, in its place at the top of the injector body. The delivery jet is complete with the overflow ring, shown in the photo. Coupling nuts and tail pipes are all present. There are no major bonks or deep wrench marks on the nuts or the body; though there are a few shallow ones.

For auction I have a Brass AMERICAN INJECTOR Co. HIT MISS STEAM ENGINE OILER#3 w/ Glass Sight 5/8" pipe fitting. The glass itself measures 3/16" thick and does have a crack in it. It must have been used with this crack as there is oil between the glass in the crack itself. There is no gaskets for giving it a tight seal. It measures 6 1/4" tall x 2 1/2" across. 2 Brass Greasers No 1 Lunkenheimer American Injector Steam Gas Engine Tractor
The 4" tall(with the plunger mostly screwed in) greaser marked Lunkenheimer Marine No. 1 has a 1/4" pipe thread and is in good condition. There are a few wrench marks on the nut and a few nicks but that can be expected for the age. The 2nd greaser is marked American Injector Co Detroit. It is about the same size as the Lunkenheimer and has 1/4" pipe threads. On the nut is stamped the number 2. The nut does have some wrench marks. Chicago No 3 , 3/4" steam engine injector
Selling here is a 3/4" steam injector. It is a Chicago no 3. With 3/4" piping. The patent date is 1902.But I am sure this is newer. It shows some wrench marks, the valve seats look good, not real worn. The close up of the single nut, and mount area shows that there is a little ding on the outer ring, on the injector. I am sure this should be cleaned up, but is barely noticeable. It appears to be all there. one of the brass pipes appears to have been broken off, the top one, so it is shorter than the others, and shows it was fractured. I see no dents in the body, to correlate damage. I am sure this should work. But only warranty that what you see is what you get. I do returns, but for fraud only. I am now signed into global shipping with ebay. I did not want to be, but to ship internationally, you have to accept their policies. This ... moremeans I mail to a Kentucky address, while they ship to buyers, and you pay higher shipping, and duty if required. There fore, the shipping cost you see, is what it would cost you. 3/4 inch Penberthy feed water injector for steam engine Frick Case hit miss
This is a 3/4 inch Penberthy feed water injector for use with a steam engine. It utilizes a steam boiler's own pressure to force water into the boiler while under pressure. An essential device for those running old or new steam engines. This one is in very nice condition. I cleaned it and added new tailstocks and retaining couplings a few years ago. It was a backup injector for my Frick steam tractor, but I never needed to install it. Since I sold the steam tractor, I no longer have use for it. Other than a few minor dings it is in very good condition. It is a B 22, which refers to the orientation of the couplings on the valve. You will have to look hard and long to find another in as nice a condition and ready to install.

Nice Original American Injector Hit Miss Gas Oil Field Engine Oiler Steam NICE!
This is an exceptionally nice original American Injector 1 pint lubricator or oiler for a hit and miss gas engine. It is in excellent original condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind except for the reservoir sight glass which is available and easy to replace. It stands about 11 1/2 inches tall overall. It has 1/2 inch pipe threads on it which are in great shape. There is only minor wear and light wrench marks on it and it will clean up very nicely. It has the original check ball and vent tube in it which means it was made to oil the cylinder of a gas engine. It also has both original wooden knobs on it. These original oilers are getting pretty tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and usually they are all beat up or incomplete. The bulb is 2 inches in diameter, and th ewhol unit is about 12 inches long. The bulb is perfect with no cracks or splits. 1/2" pipe Penberthy steam water injector. Skewed number at top looks like 906? Lower case looks like AA 21. It looks like some of the seating of hook ups need a lapping. I would hope they would seal. The top pipe is bent a bit, I assume some one fell on the thing while it was hooked up still. The body has a few dents in it, where I assume some ole crab tapped it with a hammer, rather than taking the time to clean it out, or check the seating's. I do not have an engine running at the moment to test this, so can not say much about it. We use to have some steam engines, I still have some, but do not think I need this at this time. Nice Original HANCOCK INSPIRATOR Steam Injector Traction Engine Hit Miss WOW!
This is a pretty nice original and VERY had to find Hancock Inspirator or steam injector. It is in excellent condition for its age with general overall wear and markings from its working days. It's not all pounded up like a lot of the injectors that you see. It seems to be complete with all of the tail nuts and fittings. The valves seem to move as they should. I believe this a 1 inch inspirator as the plumbing is 1 inch. The body measures about 6 x 9 1/2 inches plus the plumbing on the bottom. It is marked with the makers name on a boss on the bridge. The original wooden handle is cracked but someone tried to save it with a piece of string back in the day. If you need one for any reason this one should serve the purpose.
