Hercules Economy Hit n Miss Engine JK 1 1/2hp Fuel Filler Spout
This is a Fuel Filler Spout for a Hercules or Economy"JK" Hit n Miss 1 1/2hp Engine. It is cast iron and in very good condition with no damage breaks or repairs. The picts do show a mud dauber nest in one mounting hole. I haven't cleaned or prepared this in anyway. The metal cap on the spout flips easily and has no damage. I was going to use this as a filler spout on a 5hp Fuller Johnson engine but never got to it. Shipping to the lower 48 states only via parcel post with a delivery confirmation. Thank you for looking. Old Hercules Economy Hit Miss Gas Engine Exhaust Rocker Arm Steam Tractor NICE!
This is an original cast iron exhaust rocker arm or lever for a Hercules or Economy hit and miss or throttling governor gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It measures about 2 5/8 inches tall and about 4 3/4 inches from the center of the push rod to the center of the exhaust valve. I believe it is from a 5hp engine but measure your engine to be sure. These are often broken or repaired on engines so if you need a better one here's your chance. The pictures tell the story. This is a real nice original cast iron flat belt pulley for a Hercules or Economy gas engine. It mounts to every other spoke of the flywheel on a 9 1/2 inch bolt pattern. It is 8 inches in diameter and has a 4 1/2 inch face. It is in perfect condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind and is ready to be used on an engine. I believe it fits on all the engines 2 1/2 to 12 hp but measure your engine to be sure. These original pulleys are very tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you've been looking for one here's your chance. Here is a trip finger bracket for a 2-1/2hp to 12hp Hercules or Economy engine. This bracket is to be used with a Webster mag setup. There is a little wear on the shaft that sticks out for the trip finger to slide on to. The wear shouldn't hurt anything. It would be easy to fix if needed. Many of these get broken from someone over tighting the set screws. This one is in great shape and has no cracks, breaks, or welds. This is a real nice original Webster M-31 magneto for a hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is in good condition but the oiler caps are missing and one oiler hole has a part chipped off. The threads on the bottom are in good condition. This magneto has many applications in the gas engine world. It has the original name band on it. It has almost no noticeable wear in the bearings or on the trip finger. These magnetos are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets. It would even make a great spare on the shelf. Up for bids is an antique hit and miss engine. Wizard, Hercules Electric Co. Auto Sparker Magneto. Guys, this is way to cool. This has been sitting in my basement now for over 20 years! I never new it had so much brass! It appears to be complete except for the oil fill hole caps as can be seen in the pictures. The Brass Name Tag! Brass bottom, brass body and even brass balls on the governor! This spins freely by hand. It appears to have a little bit of bearing wear. It even has the often missing friction drive governor and is loose. Buy as is with no returns, but buy with confidence! Old Hercules Economy Hit Miss Gas Engine Mixer Carburetor Steam Tractor Oiler
This is an original fuel mixer or carburetor for a Hercules or Economy hit and miss gas engine. It is in good condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has 3/4 inch pipe threads and I believe it is for a 1 1/2 and possibly a 3hp engine but measure your engine to be sure. It is missing the fuel needle which can be obtained quite inexpensively from several of the hobby suppliers. The choke plate moves as it should. The pipe nipple in the mixer may need to be replaced as it looks to be bent but this would be pretty easy to do. This is a very hard to find original brass automatic greaser for the connecting rod bearing on a hit and miss gas engine. I'm pretty sure it was factory equipment on the Sparta Economy and early Evansville built Economy and Hercules engines. I've had a couple untouched original engines that both had these greasers on the connecting rod. This one measures about 1 3/16 inches in diameter at its widest and about 2 3/8 inches tall. It has 1/8 inch pipe threads that are in excellent conditon. It has a 00 stamped on a flat of the hex. It is in great condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has some blemishes on the knurling but this could be remedied if you so choose. Here is and original muffler that is for a Hercules or Economy engine. I think it is for a 5hp or 7hp size engine. The threads appear to have been repaired by being brazed and then re-cut. This is an excellent repair as originally these mufflers had a pipe nipple cast into them. Over time the pipe nipple can unscrew from the muffler leaving a hole with very rough threads. This repair was done very nicely and cannot be seen when the muffler is on the engine. It is in great shape and ready to use. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. Old Hercules Economy Hit Miss Gas Engine Webster Magneto Ignitor Bracket Steam
This is an original Webster magneto ignitor bracket for a 1 1/2hp Hercules or Economy hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is bracket number 303M1 and is in good condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind except that it needs a new holder spring for the advance lever and an oiler cup which are available from several of the hobby suppliers. This should be an easy repair. The movable shaft has very little wear on it and the points look great. There is some pitting on the top of the flange but this would fill easily and not be noticed if you were to paint the bracket. It doesn't affect the performance of it. With a little time and attention this could be a perfect ignitor bracket. It mounts with two 7/16 inch holes about 1 3/4 inches apart on center. This is a real nice original cast iron pulley for a Hercules or Economy hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It measures 16 inches in diameter with a 6 3/4 inch face. It mounts to every other spoke of the flywheel on a 9 1/2 inch on center bolt pattern. This pulley should fit all of the Hercules and Economy engines from 5-12hp. It may also fit the 3 and 3 1/2hp. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. These original bigger pulleys are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! If you've been looking for one to complete a restoration here's your chance. Original Economy Hercules 2 1/2-12 HP Hit & Miss Governor & Gear Old Gas Engine
Governor shaft. Gear, spring and internal shaft for a 3- 12 HP Hercules engine. This should also fit Economys from 2 1/2 HP- 12 HP. Unfortunately the governor has been welded. It looks like a decent weld. The holes are lined up correctly. I put 1/4 inch pins through the holes and they slid in fine. I can't say whether this governor is safe to use. I will let the high bidder decide after it has been inspected in person. The threads on the shaft look good and the gear fits nice, The gear teeth do have a considerable amount of wear. This is a reproduction cast aluminum cone type muffler for a hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. These were commonly used on Hercules and Economy engines and several others. They look and work good on any engine they fit on! This one measures about 6 inches in diameter and about 3 inches"deep" It has 3/4 inch pipe threads and they are in perfect shape. The movable shaft is tight with very little play. The points are in very good shape. Old HERCULES ECONOMY Hit Miss Gas Engine Starting Crank Steam Magneto Oiler NICE
This is a very hard to find original cast iron starting crank for a 1 1/2 or 2hp Hercules or Economy hit and miss or throttling governor gas engine. It is in perfect condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It is part number 177F and fits on a 1 1/4 inch crankshaft and would certainly work on any engine that it fits on but it came from the factory with a Hercules and Economy engine. The tab that grabs the gib key is in great shape. The spinner on the handle is not stuck. These original cranks are almost impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you've been looking for one here's your chance. M1 Webster Magneto Igniter 1 1/2 HP Economy Hercules Gas Engine Hit Miss
Here is a very rare piece! This magneto and igniter is for the small Hercules built engines. M1 is for the 1 1/2 HP engines I believe. This is a nice mag and everything on it is in good condition as far as I can see. I haven't tested it. But it looks like it should work with a bit of cleanup. The band on top of the magnets will need straightening out. Points and mag move fine. Don't miss it as there are not enough of these to go around! Old 303K30 HERCULES ECONOMY Hit Miss Gas Engine Webster Magneto Ignitor Oiler
This is a rather tough to find original Webster magneto ignitor bracket for a 1 1/2hp Hercules or Economy hit and miss gas or throttle governed gas engine. This is most likely an upgrade bracket to mount a larger. Hotter magneto on your engine as most of the small Hercules and Economy's came with the Webster M magneto. It mounts with two 3/8 inch holes 1 3/4 inches apart on center. Please measure your engine to be sure it fits your application. It is bracket number 303K30 and is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. There is almost no noticeable wear on the movable shaft. The points have a lot of life left in them. Everything works as it should. The advance/retard lever moves nicely but the roller is stuck. Here is a nice original muffler for a early 1-1/2hp to 2hp Hercules. Or Economy engine. It would also look good on many other engines. There is a very small casting flaw hole that will hurt nothing, see the last picture. Check out the pictures. Original 7" diameter 1" pipe mounting No cracks. Breaks, welds If you pick this part up at my house 7.25% sales tax will be added to the purchase price. If it is shipped or delivered out of state then there will be no sales tax. If you have the proper exemptions then also there would be no sales tax. My handling time is set at 5 business days after recieving payment. Most items will go out faster though. Here is a nice original head for a 1-1/2hp to 2hp Hercules. Economy, Jeager, or Arco engine. It is in good shape and ready to use. The wrist pin is with it. The ring lands are and good shape and the rings will fit properly in them. There are couple of scuff on the top edge of the piston, these will not hurt the function of this piston at all. Vintage Hercules Economy Stationary Engine Hit and Miss Starting Crank Handle

FUEL FILLER for 1-1/2hp to 2hp HERCULES ECONOMY JEAGER ARCO Hit& Miss Gas Engine
Up for sale is a hard to find Fuel Filler for a 1 1/2-2 HP Hercules. Economy, Yaeger or Arco Hit&Miss Engine, Please read discription and Look at all Pictures as they are a part of the discription. I found this part in the water hopper of an engine I purchased, I have since found an original tank and filler for that engine, so I dont need this one. I lightly glass beadblasted, not sand blasted it to remove light rust, dirt and what little remaining paint was left, as seen in the last three pics. I went a step further and gave it three coats of gray primer, its basically ready to paint and put to work on Your Tank/Engine. It is in great condition, however inside the threaded hole, someone had built up three evenly spaced beads of weld which covered 2-3 threads, I dont know why? I carefully ground out the welds with a Dremel Tool and ran ... morea 5/8-11 tap into it to clean up the threads, it was a short tapered tap, I think if a straight bottoming tap were used it would clean them even better, it should work fine, it could be sleeved and retapped, bored and tapped to a larger size, or even weld, braze or solder a pipe into it, it is still a good usuable, hard to find part, being sold as is, any questions, please ask!
