Old Gould Shapley Muir Hit Miss Gas Engine Cylinder Head Steam Tractor Magneto
This is a very hard to find original cylinder head for a Type K Gould Shapley and Muir gas engine. It is in excellent complete condition and includes the valves. Springs, and butterfly. It is free of any cracks, breaks, or repairs other than one slight crack that is pointed out. This has likely rusted shut over the years but would be easy to repair it from the inside with a little space age adhesive. The valves move freely and they look good as do the seats. There is very little wear on the throttle shaft. The head is part number 2KE131 and mounts to the cylinder on a 3 3/4 inch square bolt pattern. It is about 6 3/4 inches in diameter overall. I'm pretty sure that it is for a 2hp engine but measure your engine to be sure. I believe these late GSM engines were built by Rock Island and the parts may interchange. These heads are often broken ... morebeyond repair or missing so if you need one for any reason here's your chance. They certainly don't turn up very often! The pictures tell the story. The head mounts in an irregular pattern.the top three holes are 2 7/8 inches apart on center and the bottom three holes are 3 3/4 inches apart on center. Old Early 6hp Fairbanks Morse Z Hit Miss Gas Engine Head Steam Tractor Magneto
This is a real nice original cylinder head for an early 6hp Fairbanks Morse Z gas engine. It is the early style for the engines with an ignitor or plugoscillator ignition. It has been professionally repaired and looks great! The valves have the original springs and intake guard and are nice and tight in the guides and they have been gound. The throttle shaft is nice and tight and the water injection needle works as it should. This head mounts to the cylinder on a 5 inch square bolt pattern. There is one small repair spot by the pushrod guide that could be dressed down a bit if you'd like but I'm sure it would be fine just the way it is. I believe this head is ready to be used on an engine. These original heads for the early engines are pretty tough to find and they are usually broken badly. All of the hard and costly work has been ... moredone on this one! If you need one to replace yours or just would like a spare on the shelf they just don't get much nicer than this one. Hit miss engine Stover CT2 cylinder head,cracked
Stover CT2 cylinder head.HAS 2 CRACKS SEE PHOTOS.Can be brazed or JB weld.This head did not leak from the engine before it was rebuilt. I had another head so I used that. The exhaust valve has an oversized valve stem thickness and a heavy spring that is not original but worked fine.You would need to get an intake valve and spring and retainer. Stover part#6CT2. Both valve seats good condition.

Here is a head for a Galloway engine. I think it would fit an engine around a 5hp to 7hp in size please check the measurements against your engine so you can know if it will fit or not. The valves appear to be in good shape. The exterior surface is a little weathered but it would look much different if it were wire brushed with an angle grinder. Most importantly there are NO cracks. Breaks, or welds. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. Mounts to the engine with 6 holes Each hole is about 3-5/8" to 3-11/16" apart on center from the next closest one. You are bidding on two fillister-head screws. Used, 1/2" x 24 threads x 12" shank. I suspect these are off of some sort of antique tractor or hit and miss engine or something along those lines, or possibly some early automobile as well. Original Antique Hit Miss John Deere 3 HP Head,Intake & Ex. Valve Old Gas Engine
Very nice original 3 horse power John Deere cast iron head. This head has great original paint. However. It had a crack in the top of the head and has been welded. It looks like a decent job of welding. The face looks as if it has been lapped flat. The intake and exhaust valves are included. As are the springs. The intake spring may need replacing. The threads for the muffler are in very good condition. It also includes the original igniter bolts. I will gladly combine shipping when ever possible. If you have any questions please ask. Head for Fairbanks Morse Model T Upright Hit Miss Gas Engine
Here is a tough to find piece. This head is for a 2 HP Fairbanks Morse upright gas engine. It is in tough condition. But should be repairable. The piece that is freeze cracked out is missing. A piece will have to be fabricated and welded back in. The old valves are stuck in the guide. There are a couple other cracks around the freeze damage and pieces broken out of the mounting holes on one side. It is a project, but is better than a non-existent head. Pretty tough piece to find in any condition. I'm listing a number of different parts and pieces for early gas engines, so please check out my other listings. This is a head for a Domestic Side Shaft type A igniter style engine. I am pretty sure it is for engines that would be marked from 3hp to 3-1/2hp. It appears to be in great shape and ready to use. The inside combustion chamber hole is 5-1/32" Mounts to the engine with 5 holes Part Number 325 No Cracks. Breaks, Welds. HEAD for a 2-1/2hp to 3-1/2hp HERCULES ECONOMY JEAGER Hit Miss Gas Engine
Here is a Head that fits 2-1/2hp to 3-1/2hp Hercules. Economy, or Jeager engine. These often have freeze cracks and have been repaired. There are no cracks, breaks, or welds that I can see or know of on this one. The valve seats mad need to be touched up a little bit. There are pipe nipple remains stuck in the carb and exhaust holes but they should be easy to remove. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. Original RUMELY X L OIL PULL Prairie Tractor Engine Cylinder Head Hit Miss Gas
This is a VERY hard to find original cylinder head for an early Rumely Oil Pull tractor. It is part number C5P475 and measures about 11 1/2 x 20 inches. Someone that knows more about Rumely's than I do says it's for an X or and L. It is in good condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. Two of the valve guides are broken off at the head but this shouldn't be a big problem as I believe they are press in guides. This head has been laying around an old farm shop for decades but with a little rework would be a very nice and usable head. It has the sleeve venturi in it yet. The old spark plugs will need to be removed and one of the bolts that held the exhaust flanges on will need to be extracted as it has broken off. However, you will not need to do any welding or brazing as this head is free of cracks as far as I can ... moresee. If you need a replacement for a bad head or if yours is missing don't miss your chance on this one. It will likely be a long time before another one turns up and it probably won't be this nice. The pictures tell the story. You won't be disappointed in any way. I can ship this quite reasonably through Fastenal. I can deliver for free to LeSueur, MN, Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, later this year. It can stay here as long as needed as long as it's paid for and I accept many forms of payment. Stover Model K Stationary hit miss gas engine cylinder head rocker arm 1.5 hp
I have for auction this cylinder head and rocker arm for a Stover Model K stationary hit miss gas engine. I think this was a 1.5hp. It is in good condition no visible cracks or welds. It also includes the rocker arm that is nice with no cracks or welds. The head has a K 50 part number. It also has the exhaust valve with it and it moves in and out good. It is rusty but just needs a cleaning and some paint and your engine. I will be selling the fuel mixer for this head in another auction. Buyer pays shipping and I will calculate shipping after the auction.
