It is made of glass with brass fitting, other than the spring loaded cap, which is steel. The steel portion has weathered and discolored over the years, but the rest of the unit is quite nice. The glass bowl measures approximately 1 1/4" tal by 1 1/4" in diameter. This was found with a bunch of other oil and grease cups and fittings. Old Original Cast Iron Multi Feed Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam Oiler Lunkenheimer
This is an extremely hard to find original cast iron multi feed oiler for a hit and miss gas engine or steam engine or tractor. The reservoir is cast iron and this oiler is quite heavy! It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs other than a flat sight glass on one end of the reservoir and one of the sights has a coupler soldered to the bottom of it to accept a different fitting. The oiler measures about 4 inches in diameter and about 19 inches long over all. It is a nine feed oiler and all of the adjustment stems are in great shape and work as they should. I'm not sure if this is Lunkenheimer, Lonergan, American Lubricator, American Injector, Penberthy, Essex, Detroit, or otherwise but the levers on top look a lot like Lunkenheimer. This oiler has two mounting brackets on the back as can be seen. It needs a pipe ... moreplug in the top of it for the cover. I don't remember ever seeing another oiler quite like this so if you've been looking for one for a project or to fill that void in your oiler collection don't overlook this one. Lonergan Drip Feed Oiler. Model 384 stamped in bottom hex. Thread size 1/4 inch pipe. Glass is clean with no cracks. Oiler seems fully functional. Overall height is 4-1/2 inches with flip top down. Bowl diameter is 1-3/4 inches at the top. Condition is as found. I have not disassembled or cleaned this oiler in any way. The flip lever has proper snap and this oiler seems ready for service. Michigan Lubricator Hit and Miss Gas Engine Oiler with Elbow and Screw Feed !!
Unusually shaped Michigan Lubricator. Patented June 19- 88 with screw type adjustment on the feed mechanism. As you can see in the photos this oiler has an elbow built into it. It appears to be in good working condition. The only other mark I can find on the oiler is the number 402 near the threads on the end of the elbow. Very nice brass sight feed oiler. This oiler is in excellent condition. I couldn't find any name on the oiler. This has an inline feed connection. It looks like 3/8 inch diameter tubing would be the OD. The lower sight glass is good with no chips or cracks. Everything works and moves as it should. This oiler has 1/4 inch female pipe threads. For your consideration is this rare vintage circa 1910s Richardson Phenix Model T Lubricator. The oiler has the original brass tag that says this is a 1/4 Gallon. 1 Feed, Model T Lubricator. Made in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It measures about 11" tall, 7.5" deep, and 6" wide. It has an adjustment valve on the top with the words High and Fire, a glass sight feed, a side sight that runs over 5" a sliding cup over the removable brass filter on the top, and a crank and bar on the side. There is more lettering on the side, and also has a patent date of December of 1900. The oiler has corrosion scattered throughout the ... moresides and some wear on the top. The top needs to be degreased and I believe it will shine up very nicely. Appears to be a complete and very solid lubricator. Rare. I have for auction this gravity feed oiler for a stationary hit miss gas engine 1.5 3 5 hp or any size hp. The decal is on the inside of the oiler and it was made in Chicago Ill. It measures about 5.5" tall and the threads are about 5/8" across. It has some specs of white paint on it but it comes off without much work. Here I have for your consideration. A fine example of a hard to Twin feed Lonergan Drip oiler for a Cream separator. The glass is in great shape with no cracks or chips. The nickle plating appears to be pretty nice still from what I can see. I have not cleaned anything on this oiler. The threads on the bottom look good with no cross threads with no major wrench marks on it. Lower glass good shape also. Don't miss your chance at this oiler as they do not come up for sale often.
