I will describe any deterioration as best I can for you. Thread portion on bottom is just at 1 inch wide. Main orifice outside dimensions is 11/64 inch. Inside diameter of orifice is 3/32(using micrometer) Questions gladly answered.

Here are a couple of nice vintage oilers for the old hit or miss engines. The larger one is marked National Brass MFG. Co. Rochester N.Y. NO. 3. Overall length with the toggle up is about 6 1/2 inches. The round glass cylinder is about 2 1/4 inch diameter. The lower site glass is cracked on one side and the threads look a bit worn. See pictures. Otherwise everything else seems fine. Needs a good cleaning. The smaller one is marked Michigan Lubricator Co. Detroit Mich. and X12A 1 1/2. I guessed that makes it a size 1 1/2. Here is a very rare#5 Michigan Swing Top Oiler. This oiler has a vent tube and is meant to be used on a gas engine cylinder. It does not have a check valve and I do not think it ever did. This would be original equipment for a Fairbanks Morse N engine. It appears to have its original glass. Number 5 1/2" pipe mounting 8" tall About 3-1/2" in diameter If you pick this part up at my house 7.25% sales tax will be added to the purchase price. This is a great vintage hit miss oiler engine part with extras. The oiler was made by Michigan Lubricator Company out of Detroit Michigan. Next to that mark is"124642" which I assume to be a part number. The oiler has a top piece that includes a circular wood handle. Below the oiler body there is an additional part that includes two glass"portals" Neither the glass on this bottom piece or the glass body of the oiler has any cracks or damage to it. There is also a on/off spigot piece near the bottom. The photos show what I am trying to describe. The oiler measures about 3&1/4" in diameter and about 2&1/2" tall. The whole piece measures about 8&1/4" tall. This is a great industrial piece and is in very good condition. Farm Fresh Estate Oiler! Here I go again with another offering from my multi-generational farm estate that is for one of the largest oilers for a hit miss engine that is a FULL QUART drip oiler for a hit and miss engine made by the Michigan Lubricator co of Detroit Mich. It measures 13" high by 6 1/2" wide and is 4" deep or diameter. It is all brass and signed by the maker and also Ohio Brass who supplied the brass for the making of piece. As you can see from the pictures the glass tubes are out on both sides but I understand these are not hard to replace amonst the people who know hit and miss engines. Its a gran-daddy and I have never seen one this big which leads me to believe it was to a larger commercial or heavy engine. Michigan Lubricator Hit and Miss Gas Engine Oiler with Elbow and Screw Feed !!
Unusually shaped Michigan Lubricator. Patented June 19- 88 with screw type adjustment on the feed mechanism. As you can see in the photos this oiler has an elbow built into it. It appears to be in good working condition. The only other mark I can find on the oiler is the number 402 near the threads on the end of the elbow. Based on this I would say that it's a No. 2 size oiler. Any questions just ask. Please check out my other listings for more hit and miss engine oilers.

Vintage Engine Oiler Logging Marine Huge Michigan Lubricator
This oiler was built by the Michigan Lubricator Co. The original tag is still attached but is very worn. One end cap glass is broken but still in place. This oiler has not been cleaned or tested. There are old solder repairs that can be seen in the photos. Original mounting brackets are included. This is the only 16 port oiler that I have ever seen and has been the centerpiece of my oiler collection. Please ask if you have questions prior to bidding. This oiler is built on a 4" diameter tube and is 23" long. Total weight is near 20 pounds. I will ship to the US only.
