Old Fairbanks Morse ZD Hit Miss Gas Engine Starting Crank Steam Tractor Magneto
This is a fairly tough to find original starting crank for a Fairbanks Morse ZD gas engine. It is in good condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. The spinner on the handle moves as it should and this crank is ready to go to work starting an engine. Those ZD's are almost impossible to start without one so if you need one here's your chance. Old Fairbanks Morse J ZD Hit Miss Gas Engine Motor Magneto Gear Rebuilt Hot NICE
This is a real nicely refurbished Fairbanks Morse Model J1A2 magneto for a Fairbanks Morse ZD gas engine. It may have other applications but it has a ZD gear on it. It has been completely gone through and rebuilt. If it needed something it got it. It turns over nicely with excellent bearings and puts out a nice hot spark that is sure to run your engine. It has been painted and made to look like a new magneto so it would look great on a restored engine. It mounts with two holes 3 7/8 inches apart on center. The only blemish it has is a small"dent" on the base as I've noted in the pictures. This doesn't affect it's performance and will not be seen when it is mounted on the engine. These magnetos are rather tough to find and often require several hundred dollars to rebuild. The work on this one is done and it's ready ... morefor use. Fairbanks Morse Magneto, RV-1, Mag, Z, ZD
This is a magneto from a Fairbanks Morse Z style D engine. It is a model RV-1. The mag fires and has a good blue spark. I am no expert on this particular engine but have a lot of experience with the ZC engines and mags. The gear appears to be in decent shape. I did take this mag apart and clean it up and I replaced the ends on the wires running from the coil. The coil was really sticky so I put one layer of black tape around it. It has a serial number of 229870. I do not have any gaskets on the mag. I will ship only in the US only. Flat rate USPS within 2 days of payment. No returns. Thanks and good luck.

Fairbanks Morse Z Style D Cylinder Head, ZD, Hit n Miss
This is a cylinder head from a Fairbanks Morse Z style D 2 HP engine. The head may also fit a 1 1/2HP engine. I'm not sure, The head is flat and appears to have been surfaced. The bottom of the head looks like it has been welded on and looks like there may still be two cracks in the bottom. I don't know if coolant would leak or not but it may be easily fixed. Old FAIRBANKS MORSE RV ZD Hit Miss Gas Engine Motor Magneto Steam Tractor Oiler
This is a rather hard to find original Fairbanks Morse RV-1 magneto for a hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It was used on the Fairbanks Morse ZD and some of the Z engines and could probably be used on several others. It mounts with two holes 3 3/4 inches apart on center. This magneto is stuck and doesn't turn but the pot metal case and distributor cap seems to be in great condition. The back cover has some wear on it but should work fine the way it is. I'm sure with a little elbow grease this could be a nice working mag. These magnetos don't turn up very often and usually the pot metal is in very poor condition. If you've been looking for one here's your chance. The pictures tell the story. You won't be disappointed in any way. Good Luck.

Old FAIRBANKS MORSE ZD Hit Miss Gas Engine Magneto Gear Steam Tractor Oiler NICE
Here is a real nice original diecast magneto gear for a Fairbanks Morse ZD gas engine. It measures about 4 1/2 inches in diameter with a 1/2 inch face. It is 1 1/8 inches long through the hub and has a 3/8 inch tapered hole for the magneto armature shaft and the keyway is in great shape. It has 43 teeth and they are in great shape with very minor wear. This gear has no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind and is ready to be put to work on an engine. These originals are getting pretty tough to find so if you need one to complete a restoration here's your chance. Don't miss it. Good Luck.
