Maytag model 92 hit &miss backing plate & coil & points sparks magneto hot #2
Here is a backing plate from a Maytag model 92 Hit& miss motor. It looks to be in good shape. My brother had this on his motor just to test it out and it worked OK.He ohm tested the coil it checked out.You will want to change the coil wire or cut it and shorten it just about an inch.It is falling off. On the back of the plate where the aligning stud is. It is broke off, but that is not a big deal the clamp part is still in good shape to hold it in place.
