vintage Buckeye Brass Works grease cups N&H mfg hit and miss engine parts
This is a lot of 4 items. 2 Buckeye Brass works grease cups 2" in height and 1 3/4" in width. 1 N&H mfg NY 2" in height. These 3 items are nickel plated brass. The last item I am not sure what its for but it was a sight glass to monitor the level of oil or gas and the handle has BJP? or B/P imprinted on it it measures 4" in height. I believe all these items were used in early hit and miss engines or machinery. Please if you have any question ask before you bid and I will answer as accurately and quickly as possible.

I first thought these were identical. But you can see in the pic that the bottom, just above the threads, is finished a little differently, so not sure if it should be called a matched set or not. All three of these shows signs of use in varying degrees, but all should prove to be serviceable. The two smaller cups appear to be in unused condition. This is an original lot of brass oilers and oiler parts for hit and miss gas engines. Steam engines, tractors, or other machinery. They are all in used condition and are various size pipe threads. There are some with vent tubes for gas engine cylinders and others without. Some have good glass and some have none. They should probably be cleaned before using but that's the fun part.
