Old Powell Hit Miss Gas Engine Brass Fuel Valve Oil Field Steam Tractor Magneto
This is a real nice original old style 3/4 inch Powell gas valve for a hit and miss gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has mild wear and marks on it from its years of service. It moves as it should and is ready to be used on an engine. It is missing the original handle but these aren't real tough to find. I can also be used without it. The threads are in great shape. This would look good on an old engine and it would even look good as a spare on the shelf. These larger gas valves are getting harder to find every day so if you need one don't miss it. The pictures tell the story. You won't be disappointed in any way. Good Luck.

Here is a nice Powell carb or fuel mixer for a old hit and miss engine. It is very much like a Lunkenheimer but it has the Powell name on it. The air valve has a little wear but it should work fine. Fits on a 3/4" pipe It is called a 3/4 LH Should be ready to use. If you pick this part up at my house 7% sales tax will be added to the purchase price. If it is shipped or delivered out of state then there will be no sales tax. If you have the proper exemptions then also there would be no sales tax. Lot includes Powell 4B(has a small ding in the side) and the others are 3/4 inch and smaller. 2 have steel knobs and the rest have wood knobs. These do show some wear and are untested. Knobs do turn. Everything works and all I see is a small chip near the top on the glass but it will no interfear with the seal. The valve has a wooden knob and it works but it does have a scratch on it but not bad. I am pleased to offer you a nice vintage Hit miss engine oiler that recently came out of one my barn estates that is signed Powell 1 Pt Basom with a stamp on the top for the Bessemer Gas Co of Grove City Pa. This is an oiler that needs work or would be useful as trading stock or for pieces if you do some of your own repair. Made of solid brass and has both glass tubes knocked out but with a little elbow grease and some old fashion work would be easy to take off or refurbish. The antique lubricator is solid brass except for the glass site tubes and the wooden knobs. The bottom cross pipe is stamped"POWELL CIN OH" The reservoir oil tank is cast with a 5 pointed star reading POWELL 1 QT BOSON as shown. Both glass site tubes are undamaged. But are dirty inside. Both wooden knobs are complete and undamaged. Only the lower knob turns. The oiler measures 12 in. tall x 7 in. wide x 5 in deep an weighs a very hefty 6 pounds and 2 oz. The lubricator retains a residue of oil inside and has been almost completely drained. But needs a good flushing before use. Here is a very nice Powell Boson oiler. This oiler is meant for the cylinder of a gas engine. It has a vent tube and check valve. The top knob might be made out of aluminum instead of wood but it looks good and old. They are pretty hard to find in this small size. Check out the pictures and see if you need it 1/3 Pint Size 8-3/4" tall. 3/8" pipe bottom If you pick this part up at my house 7.25% sales tax will be added to the purchase price. This all brass displacement lubricator is marked Powell 1 PT Boson. Stamped on the upper barrel is The Bessemer Gas Eng. Co. Grove City Pa. All valves turn nicely. As you can see in picture the wooden top filler knob needs replacing along with the lower sight glass. The lower 3/4" pipe threads are good. Two Powell number one drip oilers. One has a cracked glass and is wrapped in tape but works just fine. The other has a hairline crack but holds oil perfectly. Patent date 1885. Offered is an antique brass visible 2 sided drip oiler for an early stationary"hit miss" type gas/ steam engine. Great vintage farm and industrial part. Here I have for your consideration a rare Powell Puritan No.00 nickel/brass hit miss engine oiler. Possibly other uses such as a early cars or steam engines. This has all its parts and good glass. There are no major wrench marks or blemishes and the nickel appears to be in great shape. This would work well on any antique hit miss engine.
