The cup measures 5 1/2 inches tall with the rod and 4 inches with out the rod and 2 inches wide. The top reads 1 DREYFUS PAT. MAY 21 1867. For sale is a Vintage Brass/Glass Oiler Detroit Lubricator Co. 605 Drip Oiler Hit Miss Engine PAT'D 3-30-15. This piece appears to be in great condition cosmetically but mechanically I don't know how to test it. The glass is in great condition with no cracks or chips but it does has approx. a 3/8" long scratch in it(hard to see in pics) It is constructed of brass and glass measuring approximately 6 1/2" long x 3" diameter. Vintage Detroit Lubricator Company Brass & Glass Engine Oiler, 3/8 NPT
This is a very old engine lubricator/ oiler. Made by the Detroit Lubricator Co. It has a patent date on it of 3/30/15. The oiler is glass and nickel plated brass. And it is complete. It is 3/8 NPT 18 pipe thread. It measures 5 1/2 inches in overall height. The glass is 2 in. x 2 in. The oiler is in good condition and ready to use or to display.
