Old IHC Famous Titan Hit Miss Gas Engine Motor Fuel Pump Steam Tractor Magneto
This is a pretty nice original fuel pump for an International Harvester Famous or Titan gas engine. It is part number G607 and mounts with two 7/16 inch holes 1 1/2 inches apart on center. It was factory equipment on the 4. 6, 8, 10, and 12hp engines. I believe that it will fit on the 15 and 20 hp engines but the part number would be wrong. It is in great condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. The 1/4 inch pipe threads are in good condition. The plunger moves as it should and is nice and snug in the bore. The check balls are in this pump and it is ready to go to work on an engine. It has a few cosmetic blemishes as can be seen but still looks pretty good and none of the blemishes affects its operation at all. IHC FAMOUS TITAN MOGUL M CLUTCH PULLEY Hit and Miss Old Gas Engine
Here is a clutch that will fit a few different IHC engines. It will fit the 4hp and 6hp Famous or Titan's. The 6hp and 10hp M engines, and I think all of the Mogul and Titan side shaft engine. It is in pretty good shape and appears to be ready to use. Everything functions just as it should. There are no cracks, breaks, or welds that I can see or know of. Old IHC Famous Titan Cast Iron Low Tension Ignitor Spark Coil Steam Tractor HOT!
This is an extremely hard to find original cast iron International Harvester low tension coil. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It measures about 2 1/2 x 4 3/16 inches and is 2 3/8 inches tall. It has the original Western Electric decal on it and is the earliest style low tension coil that came with the early IHC Famous and Titan gas engines. I've sold original complete working coils like this in the recent past for over $500 and I know they aren't making them anymore. The pictures tell the story. Here s a rare find. A connecting rod from a 1914 engine. It has not been broken or welded. It is not the bronze rod but it is still a rare part. At some point of this engines restoration, it looks like a new bronze bushing was installed in it, it is very tight on the wrist pin. Old IHC 1hp Famous Titan Hit Miss Gas Engine Gas Tank, NICE!
Here is a gas tank from a 1914 engine. It has been modified for a side pickup of fuel at one point but is still a solid tank. I think the carb was changed at one time and it was moved. It is soft solder, so it could be moved and put a plug in the side hole, or use it on another engine such as a Witte or a similar tanked engine. It is a heavy gauged metal. There is a baffle in the tank and some corrosion, but not close to rusted through. The last picture shows the entire engine, this auction is for just the gas tank. Old International Harvester Famous Titan Webster Magneto Ignitor Bracket 12-20hp
This is a pretty nice original Webster magneto ignitor bracket for a larger International Harvester Famous or Titan gas engine. It is bracket number 303J3 and will fit the 12. 15, and 20hp engines. It mounts to the engine with two 1/2 inch holes 3 inches apart on center. The magneto mounts on a 2 7/16 x 2 13/16 inch rectangular pattern. The points look great and the movable shaft has very little wear. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs on the body of the bracket. The only flaws I've noticed is that the small braze on the back of the advance retard lever and the spring that holds this lever in place is missing. Both should be pretty easy to remedy. Also, someone has cut down the"barrel" at some point probably to adapt it to a different engine but this will not affect the performance of the ignitor. These original brackets ... morefor the big IHC Famous engines don't turn up very often in the wild or even at swap meets so if you've been looking for one don't miss your chance on this one. Old IHC Famous Titan Webster JZ Hit Miss Gas Engine Antique Motor Steam HOT!!
This is a pretty nice original Webster Type JZ oscillating magneto for a hit and miss gas engine. It has several applications in the gas engine world. Most notably these were used on International Harvester vertical Famous and Titan engines and also the 2 1/2hp horizontal Famous and Titans. It is in good used condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs. The original mounting studs are in the holes. The threads aren't perfect but they are pretty good and will tighten down alright. You could always set the studs with some space age adhesive to be certain. It has some very mild wear in the bearings and will run for a very long time. The original brass name band is on it and has a few dings but nothing serious. It is missing the leadout cover but I believe these are available from the hobby suppliers. It mounts to the ignitor bracket on ... morea 2 3/16 x 2 13/16 inch bolt pattern. The body is in excellent condition unlike some of them that you see. The magnet have just been recharged. It puts out a hot, fat, blue spark that is sure to run your engine if it is set up properly. The trip finger is in excellent condition with VERY little wear. This trip finger would be for the horizontal engines and would need to be changed for the verticals as they trip from the bottom. These big Webster magnetos, especially the JZ, are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so don't miss your chance on this one. It would even make a great spare on the shelf. Old Webster IHC Famous Titan Hit Miss Gas Engine Ignitor Magneto Bracket NICE!
This is an extremely nice original Webster magneto mounting ignitor bracket for an International Harvester Famous or Titan hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is in excellent used condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind and is ready to be used on an engine. It is bracket number 303J1 and will fit on a 6, 8, and 10hp IHC engine. It mounts with two 9/16 inch holes 1 7/8 inches apart on center. It may fit on other engines as well but please measure your engine to be sure. There is very little wear on the movable shaft or on the points and everything works as it should. The points have been changed at some time and a better job could have been done but it works just fine the way it is. The magneto mounts to this bracket on a 2 7/16 x 2 13/16 inch bolt pattern. It would take a Webster JY magneto. One of the mounting ... moreholes has been slightly enlarged but this doesn't affect anything and will go unnoticed when it is in use. Original IHC FAMOUS TITAN MOGUL Clutch Pulley Hit Miss Gas Engine Magneto WOW
This is a real nice original cast iron pulley for an International Harvester Famous. Titan, or Mogul hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except for two cracks in the spokes right by the hub. I don't think this would hurt anything to use it like this or it would be a great candidate for stitching. The carrier is part number G907 and the pulley measures 24 inches in diameter with a 6 3/4 inch face. It mounts to every spoke of the flywheel on a 7 5/8 inch on center bolt pattern. This pulley should fit the 4, 6, and 10hp Famous, Titan, and Mogul engines. It should fit the 5 and 6hp vertical Famous and Titan's. It should fit the 6 and 10hp M engines. It should also fit the 4 and 6hp Titan Sideshaft engines. Please measure your engine to be sure it works ... morefor your application. Everything is free and works as it should. The handwheel has minor wear and the wood clutch shoes look to have lots of life left in them. These original bigger clutch pulleys are next to impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets and they really set an engine off! If you've been looking for one to complete a restoration here's your chance. This one is ready to be put to work on an engine if you like or you could take a little time to stitch the cracked spokes. These are very tough to find any many of the engines are missing their original style oilers. It is in nice condition with nothing broken or worn that I can see. Glass is good. Has the check ball in the bottom. Don't miss out on a hard to find piece for your engine. Here is a nice IHC Clutch Pulley. It is in great shape and ready to use. This will fit a 4hp or 6hp IHC Famous. Titan, or Victor. 6hp or 10hp M engines. It should fit all sizes of Mogul side shaft engines. Possibly others also. 14" diameter 6-1/2" Wide Mounts to the flywheel spokes each mounting hole is about 7-5/8" apart on center No Cracks. Auto Sparker set up for IHC Famous, Titan mageto Hit Miss
I bought this thinking I would use it on my upright 3 hp Famous. Which I seam to not be able to find brackets for, and it was also bought so that I could dismantle it, and make patterns on the castings so I can sell a few parts to some people I know who need them. So the pins have all been either drilled out, or ground to get the parts apart. I did not hurt it any. I have not tried to see if it works. It has a few problems, which can be seen, one the brush holder has been bumped, it could be straightened, or replaced, and the door on the top is missing. Never the less.
