The stage works perfectly in regards to X/Y travel. Both coarse and fine focus adjustments on the microscope frame are in working order. There is one point of minor damage, the the stage travel marker is missing. This is in no way related to the stage's mechanical function, is rather a cosmetic annoyance. Overall, the microscope is in above average condition for this model.
