Lovely vintage microscope with lightsource. Both in working order. Comes in original carrying case with 5 sample canisters, slide case with several slides(some prepared, some blank) and four eyedroppers of various sizes(the rubber tops are not much use anymore, but the droppers are in working order) The case is faux alligator with a leather handle. The handle is not in the best shape, but other than a few worn corners the case itself is in good condition. Inherited from a close friend who was a navy doctor in WWII and later a general practitioner. Hate to see it go, but it's time to find someone who will enjoy it. Vintage Unitron Phase Microscope in Original Box With Manual Accessories #105118
This is a great Unitron Phase microscope. Number 105118, complete it it's original wood case! There are several lenses; a Phase DM 10, Phase DM 20, Unitron 4, Swift Zoom(10X up to 20X) and a Unitron WF 10X. The first three have cases in a holder for them, they are attached to the microscope, the other two are in the fitted wood slots with the top cover to the microscope. There is also a Unitron LLV attachment and the original instruction book dated 1963. Excellent condition, needs a light dusting. Nothing is loose, broken or damaged, and it does screw into the box to keep it safe. A great piece! All photos have been taken in bright light and with macro. You will see specks of dust that may look like a flaw, if you have a question about any of the photos, please ask! Antique (circa 1895) Leitz microscope in case with accessories
This circa 1895 microscope has been in my family since the late 1800's. Both my father and grandfather were physicians. And both used it in their practices. It is in excellent condition for it's age. Though I want to point out some mottled spotting.The microscope is mostly brass(heavy! I chose not to alter the finish at all, so I've not treated it with anything. I understand rubbing it with oil is the thing to do, but I'll leave that to the experts! It has all the lenses, and was maintained through the years. Also, the beautiful wooden box has a crack on one side and a piece missing on the bottom(see photos) I had the piece evaluated by a website called"Value My Stuff" apparently they have a scientific instruments person, and I have included their certificate information below.
