Optics include an Abbe 1.25 BF condenser, the phase condenser with inserts as noted and B&L phase contrast objectives 10x and 43x. Carl Zeiss Phase Contrast Fluorescence Trinocular Microscope w/ 2 Oculars
For sale is a used Carl Zeiss contrast phase microscope. It comes with two 10x Zeiss oculars but no objectives. I have some objectives commonly used with those scope available separately that I could bundle. There does appear to be some slight delamination in the binocular and oculars. It features a 1.4 apl phase condenser and rotating stage. All movements on the unit appear to function as they should. There are markings from several old asset ID tags on it as well as a little rust on some knobs/screws. No light source is included. It comes from a working university research lab. Classic Carl Zeiss Standard Microscope w/ power converter. It's missing the bulb and eye piece. Includes 3 objectives. Including a plan 100 ph 3. It's been in storage a long time, so it's a little dusty. The eye objective piece has been in the tube so very little if anything has gotten into the scope. The 4th objective hole doesn't have a cap so dust could have gotten into there. Various additional attachments like phase contrast? optovar magnifier? Fully operational polarizing Zeiss Photomicroscope III. With upper and lower polarizers, phase contrast, adjustable oculars with eyepices, optovar with magnification 1.25-1.6 or Ph, multiple objectives, transmitted-light condensor, rotating stage with sample mount. The condenser with auxiliary lens carrier and lower polarizer has its own attachable carrier, as does the roating mechnical stage. The upper polarizer is housed in a slot in the optovar. This scope is set up for photography with a"pushrod" for splitting the light between the ocular tube and the camera tube. The top port is for the camera and has a cover attached. The light source attaches to the back and is of vintage variety, similar to period Zeiss scopes, power supply(see photo) is included, which plugs into a regular 120 outlet. This microscope is fully functional ... moreat present and was set up with interchangeable parts for micropaleotological analysis. The light bulb and source are quite old, and all the adjustment dials are in need of oil and use. The eyepieces have hairline cracks along the outter parameter of the field of vision, however can still be used as is, thus the scope is ready to go out the box. The objectives are of mixed higher to lower quality(see photos) they are not certified nor highly expensive objectives, yet they are, at present, useful for plain, polarized and transmitted light. Carl Zeiss Microscope INKO 1.4 NA DIC/Phase Condenser
Carl Zeiss INKO DIC/Phase Condenser You are bidding on a highly desired Carl Zeiss INKO DIC/Phase condenser which fits most Zeiss microscopes like the Universal. Photomicroscopes, Ultraphots and Standards. There are three DIC prisms in position I, II and III along with two phase annuli for Phase 2 and Phase 3 as well as the brightfield position marked J. It has a Pol 1.4 NA top lens and 0.32 NA with the top lens removed. All prisms and annuli are in nice condition with no delamiation and no peeling. The position I DIC prism has a very thin'rub' line across the middle but does not seem to effect DIC viewing and is only visible from the top with the top lense unscrewed but I can not detect anything while normal viewing through the microscope. All three DIC positions have smooth working iris. The iris for the BF position is stuck in ... morethe open position. I think the iris leaves are stuck together. I removed the pin so the iris on the three DIC positions open and close since I didn't need the BF iris. The pin is included in case you can get the iris leaves unstuck for the BF and can be seen in the last photo. This condenser has been cleaned and lubed for smooth operation. Germany engineering! It comes with the following components: the binocular head, the monocular photo, or, projection tube, a pair of K8x eyepieces, a Pl 2.5x 0.08 n.a. a Ph 16x 0.32 n.a. a 40x 0.63 n.a. and a Pl 40x 0.63 n.a. objective, the phase condenser made specifically for this instrument, the lamp, camera system with"23" Graphic roll film back and"T" tube viewing port and, of course, the Optovar in the older sequence- 1.0, 1.6, 2.5, phase. The Telan lens system is perfect. It is sans transformer and bulb, both of which come up on eBay. The fine adjustment, being too free, needs a washer replaced.
