This is extremely unique: a 24" x 30" x 1" thick steel base(base and vertical rod alone weigh 90lbs) The vertical rod is 1-5/8" diameter x 24" tall; the dual horizontal movement is ball baring mounted(extremely smooth) with no lateral movement. For sale is a vintage Spencer industrial microscope with original leather covered dovetailed case. See pictures. The microscope has a Bausch and Lomb 10x lens on top and a Spencer 4x lens below. The microscope sits on a heavy steel stand made by Hoglund Eng. Mfg. Co. Inc. Berkeley Heights, NJ. The microscope was used to detect for imperfections in manufacturing. It is probably from the 1940s. All parts appear to be in working order. The leather on the bottom of the case is tattered. If you have any questions, please let me know.
