The interocular distance is adjustable, and there is a separate diopter adjustment. The gears in the E-arm are in fine shape. This instrument has been dismantled. There is NO boom stand and NO fluorescent ringlight illuminator. There are signs of wear on the scope(see pictures) I have made NO ATTEMPT to clean anything as this is/was a fairly expensive piece of equipment. It does appear to work when I look through the lenses. I would say the optics are clear but need cleaning. The scope comes with B&L 10X WF quality eyepieces and a 0.5X lens plus removable eyeshields is also included. This microscope has NOT been cleaned and it is not cosmetically perfect. Are 2 very small. Short, parallel scratches on the base. One fine scratch on the glass plate, one tiny nick on a base edge and what I would call some faint edge wear on base. They won't show up for me on the photos- sorry. The movements are smooth. Focuses and zooms nicely. Optics are great. I see no.
