I don't know much about microscopes but this one seems to be in very good condition. The only thing I found that might be wrong is that the fine tune adjust for the platform does not make the platform go up, it will only go down, the knob will turn up but the platform doesn't go up with the small knob, it will go up and down just fine with the large knob. Otherwise everything works great, the light powers on and the intensity adjustment works. The platform has some paint missing but overall it is a nice looking microscope. Buyer pays shipping. This is a pre-owned Nikon YS100 Anti-Mould microscope. 100/110/120v. I plugged it in and everything seems to be working properly. All knobs and moving parts move freely, very sold sturdy item. I looked this up and they are outrageously priced so this should be a good deal for someone.There are a few scuffs here or there on the body, lenses look great, On my inspection of the item I removed the head and there is a piece of metal that has broken off underneath, looks like someone didn't know how to fasten it right. Theres a screw that you tighten that holds the head on, see last picture)The head still attaches properly and fastens as it should, I thought I should mention it, I try to take a lot of pictures so you can better judge the condition yourself. Used scope from a government research facility auction. This unit seems to be in near new condition. Everything about this unit looks excellent. The power supply for the Hg lamp was tested and operates flawlessly. The microscope is offered alone. No camera or camera related items are included. There are four of the six objectives remaining. Remaining objectives are 10x 20x 100x. 2x, 4x and 40x objectives have been removed.

The lamp on the underside seems to work fine and the three objectives all produce a clear and focused image. Two of the photos of the specimen seem slightly blurry. But only because I had to make my"slides" out of shipping tape, which does not work very well as a medium for the accurate passing of light. All of the specifications are listed below.
