You can see light through both sight paths and focus. I'm not experienced nor have technical knowledge with microscopes, I tried focusing in on the screen of a screen door on a cloudy day and both lenses focused in well. There appears to be dirt or dust buildup on the inside of the lenses.perhaps if cleaned they would function well? This microscope was purchased from an individual who bulk purchases local factory surplus. He informed me no one had shown interest in the item therefore he had stored it in a closet for a couple years.

If you look with only one eye, and then then other eye, you will notice that the image is in a slightly different position. So I am selling it"as is" for parts or repair. The optics seem okay, except for the misalignment. I had used the microscope several times before I became aware of the misalignment. Includes the 2 B&L 10x wide field eyepieces. The 1.0x to 7.0x variable power pod, stand, and a flat steel plate. There is no light. The plate does not appear to be part of the original microscope. The plate just rests on the base and is not attached. It could be mounted if someone drilled holes through it.

There is NO boom stand and NO fluorescent ringlight illuminator. There are signs of wear on the scope(see pictures) I have made NO ATTEMPT to clean anything as this is/was a fairly expensive piece of equipment. It does appear to work when I look through the lenses. I would say the optics are clear but need cleaning. The scope comes with B&L 10X WF quality eyepieces and a 0.5X lens plus removable eyeshields is also included. This microscope has NOT been cleaned and it is not cosmetically perfect. It has scratches, chips, etc. Please review the images. It would be great for anyone looking for a high quality stereo zoom microscope including; scientists. Up for sale is a binocular microscope from Bausch& Lomb. The StereoZoom 6. It is in good physical condition, though a bit worn from previous usage. There is a small crack on the white plastic where the logo is. The microscope works properly and is able to focus sharply on objects under it. For darker objects. You will need to have an external light source to be able to see them through the scope. We are selling the microscope along with the adjustable platform it is attached to.
