Microscope works great. It appears to have seen very little use. All functions have been tested thoroughly. The only issue is that the 100w HBO fluorescence bulb is not firing. It flickers but does not ignite. I've ordered a new bulb and will include that in this auction. 1.4 NA DIC condenser with polarizer slider. 10x, 20x, 40x, 100x DIC prisms, and BF positions. Adjustable combining DIC prism and analyzer. 4x, 10x, 20x, 40x, 100x Reichert Plan Achro objectives included. I have tried multiple objectives on this microscope. Zeiss 160mm Apo and Planapo 25x, 40x and 100x work well with the DIC prisms. I also had good success with the Olympus LUCPlanFL 20x and Nikon Planapo 60x with 100x DIC prism. Nikon Planapo 10x, 20x, 40x objectives do not work well with these DIC prisms in my experience. The lamp housing is apparently not the original that is supposed to go with this microscope. The lamp is supposed to draw power from the microscope base, but the lamp that is included requires an external power supply, which I do not have. I did hook it up to an adjustable DC power supply ... moreusing some patch cords(not included) and the lamp did power up fine. I examined some slides under the microscope, and the optics appear to be in good shape. However, this is the extent of my testing of this microscope, and it is being sold as-is. The spring mechanism on the microscope slide holder is broken. You can still move the arm over to hold the slide, but there is no spring to keep it securely in place. This is for a Fisher Scientific StereoMaster Microscope. It has 2X and 4X objective lense sets. It has the original 10X eyepieces and an additional 20X set of eyepieces. The total magnification is 20X- 40X with 10X eyepieces. The total power with the 20X eyepieces is 40X and 80X. This is a high quality stereo microscope and has a very good picture.
