This is a used bundle of a Southern Precision No. 1839 Stereo Microscope. Serial number 137573, with Renfert components consisting of bench-mounting swivel arms both on 19 inch centerlines, a Renfert KL200 Schott twin lights Fiberoptic Illuminator system serial number 101843 with chassis s/n 0726, and a plus a mounting unit for the microscope head with a lighted viewing table for specimens(see in pictures) The swivel arms come with the table edge mounting clamp as shown. Everything is in fine condition. The objective lens adjusts continuously from 1.0 to 3.0. The eyepieces are WF10X-S with eyepiece eye shade covers. One eyepiece cover has been secured by some putty-like material(see in the picture) ... moreThe unit has the twin single lights on either side with light on-off switching in back of the light head and three levels of light intensity selection by a rotary switch on the Schott unit. Wooden box measures 9 1/2 inches wide. 6 3/8 inches deep and 3 1/4 inches tall. Kit is as-found- includes the microscope. Two eyepieces, a disposable scalpel, and a penlight illuminator. Interior of box is stamped: JAPAN. Microscope frame is marked: SPI Southern Precision 1836 60X No. 33809. Lower objective lens is marked 1836 6X. Both eyepieces are marked: SPI 1836 WF 10X.
