I don't know much about microscopes but this one seems to be in very good condition. The only thing I found that might be wrong is that the fine tune adjust for the platform does not make the platform go up, it will only go down, the knob will turn up but the platform doesn't go up with the small knob, it will go up and down just fine with the large knob. Up for sale is my Bausch& Lomb Stereo Microscope. With 2 Objectives on a turret mount and binocular style 10X WF Eyepieces in the original Wood Case. I tested it out by focussing on my fingertip. Using the lower magnification objective. Once I had the skin in focus, I rotated the higher mag objective into play and was treated to an extreme close-up. You'll be pleased to hear that I didn't observe any cause for concern- though I'm not a Dermatologist, of course. Functionally. It appears to work fine- the eyepieces rotate as they should, the head moves up and down and I was easily able to focus. The only fly in the ointment is that I couldn't get that single knob on the main column(a locking knob? to rotate. Perhaps some WD40 might help? Cosmetically. It's pretty clean- the photos make it look worse than it is, though ... morea good clean and a polish never hurts. One of the eyepieces has a small ding to the outer tube, but it doesn't impinge upon the inner tube and is just cosmetic. The wooden case is original. But a little the worse for wear, as the pictures show. The lock has been broken and would need to be replaces and there's a small piece of wood missing on the bottom front lip, cracks etc. This model B&L is very hard to find- while the 3 objective sliding and single objective models are common. The 2 objective turret version is very rarely seen. Don't miss out!

Light Intensity Presetting Switch Problem What you will get Olympus BH-2 BHTU Microscope with Light Intensity Presetting Switch Problem 2 Olympus WK 10X/ 20L Eyepieces No Objectives Power Cord I tested this and noted that everything worked except the Light Intensity Presetting Switch. This switch is physically broken as while it moves. There is no"click" and the light intensity does not change. Note the description of the light intensity presetting switch in the manual is below: Apart from the light intensity set by voltage adjustment control lever. The LP switch can set the light intensity as required. Presetting the light intensity(Fig. 5) 1) Switch ON the LP switch CD. 2) Insert a slotted screwdriver into me LP adjustment screw(1) Turning it clockwise ... morewill increase the light intensity. Turn it until required intensity is obtained. The light intensity will not change even if the voltage adjustment lever@ with the LP switch ON. To change the light intensity by using the voltage adjustment lever, switch the LP switch OFF. To recall the light intensity preset, push the LP switch to ON. A Hint on Convenient Application of the LP Switch For instance, when you want to use two kinds of objective lens ahernatley. set one objective by using the vohage adjustment[ever. then set another objective lens by using the LP switch. This allows the light intensity 10 recall the intensity initially preset by switching the LP swilch ON and OFF. This also allows the light intensity setting for photomicrography. The Voltage adjustment controi lever works fine. I don't expect many people would use the Light Intensity Preset Switch. This microscope is fully useable in it's current condition. Up for sale is a used Bausch& Lomb Stereozoom 4 stereo microscope 0.7x-3.0x w/ 2-10x eyepieces. Top portion only as shown in pictures) There are scuffs and scratches from use. One of the 10x eyepices is a bit uneven at the threaded end. The bottom lenses appear to have about 1/16 of an inch of a watermark or something clouding the lens. May need to be taken out for cleaning the back side. Please view the photo's for the condition.
