The iron parts(small screws) and door lock key do have surface rust on them. Case has a few paint splatters on it. See image 10. There are two(2) eyepieces. Approximately 14" when extended and 12" when retracted. Wood carry case is 6 1/2" x 8" x 14" Box and scope for shipping will weigh approx. 16 lbs. Key works to lock case. Which is working perfectly, is based on the Patent 2,093,611 issued in 1937. The wood case with lock and key has some interior scratches. The lenses are 4mm 0.65 43X Achromat and 10mm 0.25 10X Achromat by Bausch& Lomb. Apochromatique F 4.2mm. Carl Zeiss Jena Nr 99747. All of which seem to be in mint condition. Very old Marine Corp microscope (in wooden case)
Bought this several years ago at a yard sale. Have no idea where it`s from or anything about it. It has the Marine Corp symbol on the front and looks very old. I`m sure some military collector out there would love to have this and since we are moving I want to sell it instead of packing it away. The wooden case is not in good shape coesmetically but is solid. I dont know the brand microscope is or anything. It does have 2 eyepieces. A couple screwdrivers and several glass slides. Vintage Kenko 900X Monocular Microscope with Slides and Wooden Case
This is a vintage Kenko 900X monocular style microscope in its original wooden storage box. Included are five slides(one broken) that have various hairs/fibers on them for examination. Two green lenses(I am not sure they were part of the original package but they were with it when I acquired it) two eyepieces(10x and 15x) the main microscope body with 10x, 20x and 60x lenses and the wooden storage/carry case. All lenses seem to be removable/replaceable. Everything seems in working order, was able to view the test slides.

Vtg Brass Heavy Bausch & Lomb Yale Microscope w/ Locked wooden storage box
This is a very interesting older microscope. It reads Bausch& Lomb Optical Co. Rochester, NY, YALE. It does not have the reflective mirror below which is most common in microscopes but rather it has a open and close light feature.much like the shutter on a camera. I believe this must have been a research microscope for a classroom, perhaps at Yale? The box has gold color markings on it which read Room 19 Z31. It seems to be in excellent condition with the exception of a few minor surface scratches. I see some brass on this microscope and the entire piece may be out of brass and coated in black because it is tremendously heavy. This scope weighs 10 pounds. 8 ounces. The grooved box is in fine condition as well and comes with an extra lens and has the original screw which keeps the scope secure in the box. The model or serial number on ... morethe scope is 252507 and I can't find this model anywhere. When I look through it. I don't see any cracks or anything damaged through the lens. I don't know much about telescopes but it appears to all be in functioning order. The scope measures 15" tall when the lens is all the way up, when it is down it measures 13" high. Here we have an antique Carl Zeiss microscope. Made in Germany. I am unsure of the model number or year of manufacture. It is definitely older than April 7, 1977, as there is a service sticker on the base of this microscope from the company I imagine this instrument used to belong to, which states its last service. The company where this microscope used to live is"Geo. C. Frye Co. A Unit of Esterline Corporation" The base of this microscope has the number 2076179, but this yields nothing with a Google search, so I am not sure what that number signifies. I can tell you what I have in front of me though! Here is a beautiful. Heavy metal microscope. All of the knobs turn fluidly and the movements are all smooth and responsive. The all wood box has"Germany" branded on the inside of the door. The lock works. But is an American brand, and appears to be added after the fact. The only evidence of this swap can be seen from the inside. The box is solid and locks, but the rear panel seems to have suffered some moisture damage towards the bottom, and the plywood is bubbling there. The box is in pretty rough shape, but it appears to have done its job of protecting the instrument, as the microscope is in really nice shape. The light source is not tested. A

This Vintage AO Microscope is in Pretty Good Condition for it's age. But the grease has frozen on the stage, and it will not move up or down.
