This Vickers M55 projection microscope is not only a very rare and collectible find. But it certainly has viable use in today's world. Presented as we found it, in very good to excellent condition. It has many types of movements and adjustments for stage, nosepiece, and lamp height; condenser and filter settings, etc. We found all of these mechanical aspects to work properly. The nosepiece contains two objective lenses: one 50X micro plan and one 30X micro plan. After inspecting the many optics, glass, filters, etc. we concluded that everything is clear or cleanable. Also, we received it without whatever cord connects the lamp power source to the microscope. It has both specimen holding tabs for the stage, but only one of them has its mounting screw.
