Sometimes still referred to as dissecting microscopes, give an erect, three dimensional perspective. This microscope has a low magnification power and uses two separate eyepieces with two objectives, which creates the visual effect of depth perception. The primary use of a dissecting microscope is for viewing relatively large and solid surfaces or specimens. It earned this name because it proved a very useful tool due to the observer's ability to manipulate the specimen that is being viewed with an important degree of precision. This stand has been completely dismantled. Cleaned, repainted and lubricated, and is made of cast aluminum. The microscope does not come with a stand. The auction includes everything you see in the pictures.The Microscope came out working environment. I inspected it and found nothing wrong with it. It seems to be in a very good shape. All adjustments are very smooth and it looks like it has recently been oiled. The eyepieces are 10X magnification. It has small scratches. Up for sale is a used Bausch& Lomb Stereozoom 4 stereo microscope 0.7x-3.0x w/ 2-10x eyepieces. Top portion only as shown in pictures) There are scuffs and scratches from use. One of the 10x eyepices is a bit uneven at the threaded end. The bottom lenses appear to have about 1/16 of an inch of a watermark or something clouding the lens.
