The only thing I found that might be wrong is that the fine tune adjust for the platform does not make the platform go up, it will only go down, the knob will turn up but the platform doesn't go up with the small knob, it will go up and down just fine with the large knob. Bausch & Lomb Stereo Microscope w 2 Objectives & 10X WF Eyepieces in Wood Case
Up for sale is my Bausch& Lomb Stereo Microscope. With 2 Objectives on a turret mount and binocular style 10X WF Eyepieces in the original Wood Case. I tested it out by focussing on my fingertip. Using the lower magnification objective. Once I had the skin in focus, I rotated the higher mag objective into play and was treated to an extreme close-up. You'll be pleased to hear that I didn't observe any cause for concern- though I'm not a Dermatologist, of course. Functionally. It appears to work fine- the eyepieces rotate as they should, the head moves up and down and I was easily able to focus. The only fly in the ointment is that I couldn't get that single knob on the main column(a locking knob? to rotate. Perhaps some WD40 might help? Cosmetically. It's pretty clean- the photos make it look worse than it is, though ... morea good clean and a polish never hurts. One of the eyepieces has a small ding to the outer tube, but it doesn't impinge upon the inner tube and is just cosmetic. The wooden case is original. But a little the worse for wear, as the pictures show. The lock has been broken and would need to be replaces and there's a small piece of wood missing on the bottom front lip, cracks etc. This model B&L is very hard to find- while the 3 objective sliding and single objective models are common. The 2 objective turret version is very rarely seen. Don't miss out!

I looked this up and they are outrageously priced so this should be a good deal for someone.There are a few scuffs here or there on the body, lenses look great, On my inspection of the item I removed the head and there is a piece of metal that has broken off underneath, looks like someone didn't know how to fasten it right. Theres a screw that you tighten that holds the head on, see last picture)The head still attaches properly and fastens as it should, I thought I should mention it, I try to take a lot of pictures so you can better judge the condition yourself. A pair of CFWN 10X/30 Eyepieces, two Illuminator Lamps, and two Objectives(3X& 10X) It looks to be in fair cosmetic condition, showing some signs of wear. The binocular head, eyepieces, objectives and lamps were all sealed in plastic bags when we got them, so they all look to be in pretty clean shape. Most of the holes on the microscope body were covered with bags or tape, so the optics were protected. The only port that was left exposed was the one where the binocular head mount, so it got a little dirty, but I gave it a good cleaning, and the optics look to be okay. The system powers up, and both illuminator lamps light up. I checked out some items under the microscope, using both the 3X and the 10X objectives, and the ... moreimages were clear and sharp. The front panel of the base has gotten a little banged up, and the plastic knobs are partially broken. The lamp intensity adjust dials do work, but they do not seem to have a full adjustment range. The lights only start to illuminate when the dials are turn past 7 or 8 on the scale. This is the extent of my testing of this microscope, and it is being sold as-is. The slide rails in the Z-Axis Focusing Assembly are pretty rusty, but the smooth travel of the head up and down does not seem to be affected. I do not have the stage to this system. It comes as shown in the photos above, so if you do not see it in the photos, it is not included. Approximate overall unpacked dimensions: 17"L x 14"W x 25"H.
