Precision Monocular Biological Compound Light Microscope
electric microscope" It is a 1 eye lense din/18mm WF10X and it has 3 magnifications dial attached to it. The first1# is din 40x 0.65 blue marked. The sec#2 is a coated 5. 0.10 blue marked and third#3 is a 10x marked yellow with 0.25. the main eye is broken but you can see through it almost 90% all the other 3 magnifications lenses are fine. THE MAIN LENS WITH LET YOU SEE NO MORE THAN THE PERCENTAGE I TOLD. ALMOST ALL THE IMAGE. the main base neck was broken so i take detailed pictures of where the crack was. I fix it. And seal it with superglue called"krazyglue" brand. this microscope hooks to ac with its cable wall. the light works fine. it has a 365' degree on its main lens. i tried to look where and who made it but all i found was these 3 companys and 1 guess. Because they have similar microscopes like this one. 1# skope ... moreby boreal. 2# southern precision electric. 3# flinn. 4# an the other i'm suggesting is maded in china. my best guess. Packaging and even the original user manual. I would guess its from the late 50s to 60s judging by the clothes the kids are wearing on the box. I couldn't find another for sale with the packaging so it must be hard to find. its super clean but smells a little bit like an attic but I think that'll fade out. A nice piece of Americana with some enhancements. This one includes a phase contrast kit(early model) with PH sliders for 10x. 21x and 97x oil. The 43x PH slider is missing. It does include a factory case and centering key. The system is pretty dirty and needs some lube on the focus R&P. Optics include an Abbe 1.25 BF condenser, the phase condenser with inserts as noted and B&L phase contrast objectives 10x and 43x. Also includes a normal 10x achromat, 43x achromat and 97x oil.all non-phase. Oculars 10xWF and 7.5x. A nice wooden carrying case with lock and handle is included. The Zeiss"pumpkin" lamp is mounted on a support stand and includes the Zeiss filter holder.accepts 32mm diameter filters. A blue filter is included along with the collector lens and diffusor inside.
