This was my personal inspection microscope. The unit has been well-maintained and I have just replaced the(2) Halogen Bulbs/Lam ps and the Cooling Fan for you. Th is unit comes with the TWO LENSES; the Mantis 6 x lens and the Mantis 2 x lens. Additionally. The unit is mounted on a custom WOOD and BLACK FORMICA base. The base measures 26" long x 16" wide. The base allows EAS Y and EFFORTLESS relocation of the microscope. The mounting fixture can also be removed from the base via 3 machine screws with an Allen wrench. The base has 4 quality ru bber feet. Overall. This unit is in great condition and is an excellent buy for anyone in the market for an inspection stereo microscope. The unit will be QUALITY PACKED and INSURED so it arrives to you safe. A dded: 04/29/2013 I added some photos looking through the 6X and 2X lens. The actual ... moreview is beautiful compared to these images- it is very hard to get a get a photo with the camera I have- I was unable to disable the flash from firing which produced the washed-out appear ance. I've added pictures of the bottom of each le ns(bottom=closest to item being viewed) There are a couple of very small scratches( = 0.5 mm) on each lens. Nothing significant in my opinion. A Mantis Stereo Viewer in excellent working condition. 2X and 8X lenses. These viewers are supplied with Halogen lamps. This unit has Phillips LED lamps installed, it comes with a spare LED lamp and a set of two GE Halogen lamps in case you want to switch back(you won't) which is simply a matter of unplugging the LED lamps and plugging in the Halogens. With documentation and mounting base. The base is screwed or bolted to a desk or bench and the viewer bolts to that with hex bolts(supplied) Very nice condition overall. A couple scuffs perhaps and one of the little screw covers is missing.
