I looked this up and they are outrageously priced so this should be a good deal for someone.There are a few scuffs here or there on the body, lenses look great, On my inspection of the item I removed the head and there is a piece of metal that has broken off underneath, looks like someone didn't know how to fasten it right. Theres a screw that you tighten that holds the head on, see last picture)The head still attaches properly and fastens as it should, I thought I should mention it, I try to take a lot of pictures so you can better judge the condition yourself. It comes in a carry case and has a plastic dust cover, an extra bulb, extra fuse, and some immersion oil. Instruction book, sales brochure and the original invoice are present. This is a one owner scope that was purchased for school and not used after graduation. Everything works and the instrument looks new. there is a small bump which can be felt while turning the fine focus knob but the focus works perfectly. Stage movements. It comes with four objectives(OIL 160 0.17 Plan100/1.25 Ph100. 160/0.17 Plan10/0.25 Ph10, 160/0.17 Plan20/0.40 Ph20, 160/0.17 Plan10/0.25 Ph10) and Four Eyepieces. Eyepieces by Cambridge Instruments WF15x15 are both scratched badly on the lens's and will have to be repaired. There is a photo of what the scratches look like when looking into the eyepieces. There are also two W10x. I was able to focus in with one of the objectives as shown. The light powered on with no problems and dimmed when prompted. Up for auction is this American Optical Spencer Binocular mon-objective microscope with 4 objectives. Light, case. It is used, and needs a good cleaning. Also looks like it needs a glass piece in the light part. I believe the objectives are 10x, 43x, 97x, and 3.5x. This is an all metal unit and is very heavy for it's size. This microscope is in excellent cosmetic and working condition. The stage movement up and down is s bit stiff but manageable. The carrier the holds the slide appears to be missing a screw on one side. It has all 4 objectives; 4x. 10x, 40x and 100x. the eye pieces are 10x WF. One is made by Olympus and one by Nikon.
