It was tested and it works as intended with good optics and it provides a nice bright and focused image. There are many signs of cosmetic wear on the microscope body, there may be blemishes(chips in the finish, etched numbers, etc. you can see in the images. Look at the 12 images provided and judge for yourself. The microscope comes with a set of Selopt W10X oculars(eyepieces) Along with the switchable dual fixed magnification factors of 1X& 2X. Total magnification will be either 10X or 20X. All lens on this scope are clean and the controls are smooth and accurate.
