Vintage Ideal #2 Stencil Cutting Machine, Hand Operated, 5/8" Letters
This is a vintage Ideal#2 stencil cutting machine that cuts 5/8" letters and numbers. It is still operative- even though a portion of the circular handle on the top is broken off and missing. You turn the round handle to the letter or number you wish. Then press down the lever at the front. This cuts the letter or number into the cardboard. There is another lever to reset the machine. Due to the weight(almost 70 pounds) It can either be picked up or I can meet you within a 50 mile radius of Dover, Ohio or it can be shipped via UPS ground for $45.00. Vintage MARSH Model S 3/4" Stencil Cutting Machine Commercial Grade Letter Punch
This is a HEAVY duty stencil cutter that is quite old. But still in really nice condition. Some light surface wear as pictured and some very minor rust on back legs. All numbers, letters, and punctuation cut great. Dial rotates nice and smooth, although it has not been used in decades so it should be oiled up before use again. I only went through each mark on the dial once only to test it. This is a HEAVY solid steel machine that weighs just under 100 pounds, industrial grade. Up for your consideration is a Diagraph-Bradley Stencil Cutting Machine. Model GG-S-747 with 3/32" letter size. I purchased this and was told it works. I tested it on paper as you can see in the last photo. Leaves a rusty greasy look when it prints. I don't have the material to test it on anything else. This definitely shows use. There is a bolt missing and the rubber feet are cracked on two and missing on the one(photo#11) There is a lot of rust present as well as pitting/scratches/scuffs- just see the photo's to get your opinion on the condition. It is a heavy piece though, it weighs a little over 100lbs.
