The inner bearing seats have been machined for perfect fit of the metal lift ball bearings creating near perfect suction. It includes 2 leather cups. 2 die cut gaskets, shaft packing and replacement lock pin. Although this pump will last another 30 years. I can only offer a 30 day warranty for this rebuild. 1923 C&P 10x15 Platen letterpress
I have for sale a C&P platen dated 1923. It is complete with a friction clutch speed control. Original leather drive belt. There is a new 110V motor to go with the press. Works perfectly! It has a full ink fountain and all 3 rollers(great condition) and 2 chases. The drive shaft has a U so if a foot peddle was desired it could be easily added. Amazing condition! Would be glad to E-mail more photos. Buyer is responsible for moving/shipping. Local pick up is preferred. It is located in High Point. NC in garage(ground level) It comes with machine skates which makes moving the press MUCH easier! It was originally purchased from John Barrett at Letterpress Things in MA. Chandler Price 10x15 N Series Letterpress Printing Press These were very late model Chandler Price presses redesigned to reduce pinch points. Some of the last presses they made. This one was in a High School graphics arts shop which closed and has seen little use. Rollers are clean in good condition. There is a small weld to the apparatus that supports the ink disk. Looks like a preventative weld where a crack may have been starting. Crating is included in this auction. I can arrange shipping to your location. I have shipped a number of these presses around the country and west coast deliveries are around $500 and east coast would be less.
