Excellent working HP 5315A Universal Counter with added external time base input. Range of 150MHz with good sensitivity. Front panel pix shows counter reading my Thunderbolt GPS Disciplined Oscillator's 10MHz output using the 5315's internal XO timebase as the reference. This is the max. resolution for this frequency. With the overload indicator on showing that the"1" is off to the left. The reading indicates an accuracy of about 1 part in 10^-8. Don't know how long it will stay there but it held for several hours while I was working. I did the external time base input mod. Which was easy because the mainboard fully supports the addition with an internal switch. It has worked flawlessly with both of my GPS-DO units. ITEM: ~ SENCORE MIGHTY MITE TC 136 TUBE TESTER The case is in VG condition showing some wear from age/ use/ storage. The panel is in excellent condition apart from some scuffs on the bottom left corner this tester looks almost new. A close up inspection of the tube sockets reveals very little use and the meter is crystal clear. There are 11 test sockets on the panel and the instructions with test data are attached to the lid with the original page holder. This is a well respected. Portable and easy tester to use and was the choice of many techs back in the 1960's-1970's due to its excellent Grid Leakage/Shorts test capabilities. Dimensions: 11" W x 10" D x 4" H. I performed my usual tube tester tests with known value tubes(as seen in pics) and the tester tested my tubes correctly ie Good for Good tubes and Bad for bad/weak ... moretubes. This tester tested my test tubes correctly but like all vintage electronics they do need a check up and possibly might need calibration for optimum results. This tester is very easy to use and tested more modern types including Compactrons etc- it does not test older vintage types like 01A. 80 etc There is also an"Electronic Spectrum chart included which has the frequency allocations dated Feb 15 1957 This tester is sold as is possibly needing calibration/restoration due to its age.
