This item is a Leeds Northrup Decade Resistor Box. Most likely manufactured in the 1930's or 60-70+ years ago. It still works great even after all that time. This fantastic piece of history would function perfectly as a conversation piece. Or on any electronics lab bench for"dialing-in" whichever resistance you are looking for, from 0.1-1111 OHMS! I have been collecting these items for many years so I have decided to sell all of my duplicates. This item was used in a university physics lab up until recently, and has been maintained and calibrated by our equipment curators, so it is in wonderful shape, and has been well cared for over the years.
