Here is a great looking IT-12 Signal Tracer from my personal test bench. The only reason that I am selling is that I no longer service electronic equipment due to my eye site and that I am down sizing into a smaller home. This is a great tool for someone working on radio receivers or audio amplifiers as it enables you to located the problem very quickly. Not only does it work great. It looks great. I have tested the tubes with my military TV-7 tube tester and they have plenty of life life. Even the"eye" tube is still bright as you can see in the pictures. Vintage Heathkit IT-12 Signal Tracer. Tubes in unit are 12AX7. 1629 magic eye indicator and one other. Powers up nicely and the green tube is nice and bright. On touching the probe an audible hum is heard. No further tests done and is being offered AS/IS. PACO Z-80 Audio RF signal Tracer includes probe
Paco z-80 rf and audio signal tracer. With probe, being sold for parts or repair. Appears complete, tubes including seeing eye tube are there, rectifier is solid state diodes instead of the tube that was in the original design.Has original knobs and feet, no manual. Case has some rust. Red plastic on probe is cracked. Have not powdered this up, cord is intact, hamfest treasure that should be carefully brought up on variance and any suspect caps changed out b4 firing it up. 3 wire cord would be smart modification and not sure i saw a fuse in there, another safety item. Very nice lot of vintage electronic test equipment! We did some simple testing with these and the results are given by each item and we guarantee nothing except that the tests we did got the results stated below. The pieces in this lot are; 1.HEATHKIT Signal Tracer. Model IT-12. We plugged this in and the volume on the speaker went up and down as the knob was turned and the light came on, so this appears to be in working condition, don't know for sure. 2. Fluke bench-top multimeter. Model 8012A. There is no power cord so we couldn't test this. There is a large sticker on the bottom with instructions for use. 3. TRIPLETT Transistor Tester. The gauge says model 690A(don't know if that is just the gauge or the model number of the whole assembly) The batteries are dead in this so couldn't turn it on. The batteries are odd shaped ... moreand would be hard to replace with the same style, but probably could make newer style batteries work. 4. MICRONTA Adjustable Dual-Tracking DC Power Supply. Model 22-121. With instruction manual. We plugged this in, the power switch light came on and the voltage level gauge moved from 0 to 15 as the knob was turned. Appears to be in working condition, no guarantee. A couple things in the instructions ae"Using the power supply to power one device or two with different voltage requirements" and"Connecting the A and B outputs in series for up to 30 volts" Several more uses for this very versatile piece of equipment. 5. GB digital multimeter. Model GDT-160. Very small for getting in to those tight places. The batteries are dead so we couldn't test this. 6. AWS clamp on voltmeter/ammeter. Model DSA-7610. Batteries are dead so we didn't test this.

I know it works, I have used it some years ago, and it's been stored well. The green tube lights, the speaker works. I cannot vouch for perfect calibration, but there is a dial for frequency, and range setter, and with an oscilloscope you can set an accurate tone. It has a RF radio frequency input, with a probe, and an audio input. It also features a watt meter load input. IT3120 Fet/ Transistor Tester, IG5282 Audio Generator, IT 5283 Signal Tracer, IM5284 Multi-Meter, IPA 5280 Power Supply, 9VDC Converter Charger, and assorted cables. These items belonged to my Father. He was an Electronics Engineer. He designed and built many types of equipment. I do not know what this equipment is for or how it functions.
