The Biddle model 230315 tests dielectric strength and ground circuit continuity of three wire devices. This unit has has a continuously variable range of 0-3kV AC. It has a NEMA5-15R receptacle and recessed probe receptacles and a bypass switch for test probe and two-wire device testing. This unit was just decommissioned from the engineering lab of a major display manufacturer that closed a facility. It is in very nice condition and it works perfectly. The lab manager told me the equipment was calibrated a month before the facility closed; the meter reading corresponded to my voltmeter. But calibration is not warranted.
