Infrared camera unit that my family member had been using for building inspections(mold. Insulation faults etc detection,electrical monitoring, water damage etc) Camera was bought in 2009. This is a VERY rare item and supposedly there has only been about 50 units worldwide of this imaging device. It could be mounted onto a helmet to provide VIRTUAL REALITY-like mounted IR vision. It is unusual in that it has AMAZING IR resolution(320x240= 76800 pixels) for the price unlike most devices in this price range at AMAZING REFRESH RATE. What blows away most of the units(even those way more expensive) is the Hz refresh rate suited for real time reality walking in super dangerous conditions! I believe this camera has 30Hz or MORE maybe even 60hz or more but I have not been able to find documentation and specs- it must be fast refresh since it was ... moredesigned for firemen to walk into fire with it attached to helmet real time- so no ridiculous low refresh like in most IR cameras or ridiculous low resolution is allowed. Please do not hold me responsible because I do not know what real refresh rate the FireFlir120 has so you need to check it someplace yourself) If you look up in this price range you will not even find one close to that level of refresh.
