You are buying a Lot of 9 Elenco 1% x 1 Watt Resistor Substitution Boxes- need work Some of these are labeled"broken" and measure a small resistance when all the switches are turned off. Or don't measure anything. Some of them have a base resistance, and then the switches add and subtract like they should, they just aren't zeroed out. Great for a project or class to repair. You can see from the inside pictures that these are pretty simple. And most probably just need a new switch or a new resistor somewhere. These would be great for a maker space or electronics class. Vintage EICO Resistance Decade Substitution BOX This is a really nice vintage EICO model 1171 resistance decade substitution box. It has a range from 0 to 99.999 Ohms. I hooked it up to my DMM and ran through the settings on the switches and they all seem to be reading reasonable close. Case is a heavy duty metal with a nice grey crinkle paint job(factory original) This came from my father's workshop/lab. He had tons of electrical equipment and TV repair stuff that I will be listing soon. Ready to go to work in your shop or a cool display piece.
