I waited a while to find one of these. Got it about six months ago for this same price and then went ahead and ordered the full set of capacitors and completely recapped it. It was a lot of work. And not cheap. It seems to work excellently! I remember how stunned I was with how accurate the resistance measurements compared to my calibrated Fluke 77. The capacitance measurement seems very much spot on too. I did not have a digital comparison. But when using accurate caps, the readings on eico are exactly as expected. Amazing range, this thing has. I think the volt measurement system itself needs to be calibrated though. I did not get that far. At that point I had to pack it away to prepare to move to a new town. Alas I've decided to part ways with multiple pieces of vintage equipment.

PACO C-20 Resistance Capacitance Comparator Bridge
I am cleaning out the radio room. I have owned and used this PACO C-20 Resistance-Capacity-Ratio bridge for years. The Paco C-20 is very similar to the EICO 950 series. The Knight KG-670, Heathkit C-2 and C-3, etc. All of these models are almost identical in functionality and circuitry. These units are known as a Resistance-Capacitance Bridges, or R/C testers, but are most commonly used these days as a capacitor testers. I have used for various projects, mainly to ascertain the range of variable capacitors I have in the junk box. I lifted this little unit down from the shelf and tested it again this week. To confirm that it's still operational. As you can see from the images, the"magic-eye" is nice and bright. I grabbed a nearby dual-section variable capacitor and the PACO unit tracked nicely with across its entire range: from ... moreabout 10pf to ~1000pf. It also measured with reasonable accuracy the capacity of a handful of much higher capacitance electrolytics I had within reach. Any technician who plays with vintage tube equipment(such as vintage ham gear. Tube amps, antique AM radios, vintage jukeboxes) will find that a quality capacitor tester is a useful piece of test instrument. I have not replaced the electrolytics in this unit and would recommend that recapping be done before placing full confidence in the leakage tests. The unit comes with the original manual. Complete, with no missing pages. This RC tester will leave my location well packed for safe shipment to you. That being said there is no warranty or return of this item.
