I have a used Huntron Tracker 1000 model HTR1005B-1S for sale. It is in nice condition. I've used it many times to track and fix problems in equipment that I wouldn't have otherwise been able to fix without this. The photo shows the trace from a good electrolytic capacitor being tested. The Huntron Tracker can test components in-circuit or out-of-circuit. It works particularly well if you have a known good circuit that is identical to the circuit that you are trying to troubleshoot. It has an'alternate' function which alternates the display between'input A' and'input B' so that you can easily compare the traces to one another. A pair of 6' test leads is included with this unit. This unit came from an estate. Though I previously thought the unit was seemingly still in use. On the bench like all of the rest of the equipment, with a very basic test I found that the screen does not operate correctly(it's not dead, but it won't produce the horizontal line it should) Buttons being pressed did turn on/off channels/modes/etc. and touching probes together did get a response on the screen(for both channels, even) but beyond that, I don't have the ability to test/confirm its functionality whatsoever, and it is being sold as-is, with no warranty, and no returns. It should be considered not-working, and good for parts, unless it can be repaired/refurbished. Please be sure that this is the equipment you are looking for.
