This is an olympus panametrics ndt epoch ltc ultrasonic flaw detector. It is in excellent cosmetic shape. it powers up and displays a graph. It was last calibrated 3/31/2010. Please see sticker in pictures. It also has a mini sd card in it. It is a lexar 2gb micro ad with the adapter to fit in the unit. I have also purchased a brand new battery and charger for it from inspired energy. It has 2 batteries and 1 charger. New battery is nc2040hd. Old battery is nc2040. The old battery was in the unit when i got it. i charged it and it worked fine. not sure how much use it had. Charger is ch5000 smart charger with recall ration. Battery and charger come with original paperwork. I do not have any transducers or cables for it. This unit is government surplus. Ritec RAM-10000 Advanced Measurement System For sale- a Ritec RAM-10000 Advanced Measurement System. I have the manual for it. Dated 7/94, and the opening sentence of the introduction states that it is“a state-of-the-art measurement system that features a broadband gated R.F. amplifier, a unique tracking receiver, quadrature phase sensitive detectors, gated integrators and a frequency synthesizer. Which is all great. But it tells me absolutely nothing about what the thing does. The rest of the manual was equally evasive regarding the actual application of the thing. So it was a pleasant surprise to look online and quickly find all sorts of things that point to it being an ultrasonic NDT system. If somehow I have misconstrued these things and it isn’t used for non-destructive testing. You have my apologies. What you see in the pictures is ... morethe“system” that I have to offer. If the pictures appear to be missing some key element please do NOT assume it to be included. In addition to the main RAM-10000 unit. It comes with an RSD-1 High Power Transformer, a PAB 0.05-20 High Impedance Pre-Amplifier, and an RCDX-2 Clamped Diplexer. It also has a Gated Amplifier with it. Looks like the model number is RPC-61 HP, but that appears to be some sort of plug in and I do not have whatever sort of rack or chassis it should fit into. It comes with a couple of cables and the manual as previously noted. But I do NOT have software for it. Again. If it isn’t in the pictures it is NOT included. The main unit has been tested to power on and the red High Voltage LED comes on when that switch is flipped. That is the extent of my testing and NO warranty is offered. However. I believe this piece would typically be used to inspect aircraft control surfaces. But I am guessing that if you are checking this out you already know all you need to know about the thing. The surplus condition code would theoretically indicate it should be functional. But the installed batteries were dead and it does NOT come with an AC adaptor/charger. So I put some D cell Alkalines in and that was sufficient to power it up and poke around just a bit. I bought this item about 1 year ago. Never used it and it has been stored in a temperature controlled(my home) environment the whole time. I bought it to test coins and it is the wrong product for that application. The set did not include any probes when I bought it and it still does not. I paid $1.850 when I bought it. All items look good. I put a set of alkaline"C" batteries into it for the first time about a week ago and it turned right on. I cannot find the original listing anymore on EBay but I believe the seller indicated that he had tested it for accuracy and found it to be in good working order. Having never used it. I cannot verify or deny this issue. It looks like it works to my untrained eye or I would say so if I thought otherwise. The unit looks like it is made more for rechargeable batteries(thus the charger that came ... morewith it) I have no rechargeable batteries, nor did any come with it when I bought it.
