This is the microscope only! Approximate dimensions are 5" length. 5" wide& 11" high. I received this microscope from a friend to help with homeschooling my children. We no longer need it. There is a number(312501-116) stamped under the base into the casting& is possibly the model number. It is the only part/model number on the entire microscope(that I can see) The stage has a few minor scratches but they do not interfere with viewing or performance(see picture of stage& picture of label on back) There are no other markings to indicate the optical power. Etc. It operates smoothly& focuses fine. It focuses by the knob on the side which moves the stage up& down. The stage raises& lowers fine& the left optical slides fine as well. The right optical is stationary& is not made to move. It could use ... morea little cleaning. It is in a smoke free home. For those unfamiliar with stereo microscopes they offer a depth perception a compound microscope cannot deliver& a dimensional view of your specimen. The dimensional view helps to get a realistic view of your specimen. Bausch& Lomb is no longer making these. However. Due to their quality they are still widely used today in many industries, labs& hospitals. In my opinion, 1) they are great for young learners or those just starting with microscopes because there is no slide damage or breakage caused by the microscope& lens being zoomed in too close, 2) cleaning is easier, 3) there are no bulbs to change, 4) there are no power cords or batteries. This microscope doesn't require batteries or power to work& it doesn't require a light source due to it using the light in the room. Antique (circa 1895) Leitz microscope in case with accessories
This circa 1895 microscope has been in my family since the late 1800's. Both my father and grandfather were physicians. And both used it in their practices. It is in excellent condition for it's age. Though I want to point out some mottled spotting.The microscope is mostly brass(heavy! I chose not to alter the finish at all, so I've not treated it with anything. I understand rubbing it with oil is the thing to do, but I'll leave that to the experts! It has all the lenses, and was maintained through the years. Also, the beautiful wooden box has a crack on one side and a piece missing on the bottom(see photos) I had the piece evaluated by a website called"Value My Stuff" apparently they have a scientific instruments person, and I have included their certificate information below. All the mechanical features are smooth and slop free. The metal tabs that hold whatever glass slide you are using are missing. But a couple of rubber bands(what I used to test it with) will work fine, and replacement parts should be no problem to find. This is an excellent quality REAL microscope that is head and shoulders above anything plastic that you find in a kid's"beginner microscope kit" or some such. I purchased this Zeiss Eduval Microscope in 1989 in East Berlin. It has been in storage since then. As is indicated in the pictures the following are included: P10X and P16X eye pieces Magnifying elements: SP 40/0.65 to 160/0.17 10/0.25 160/ 0.17 4/0.1 mirror. Light, box of unused slides, multiple diffusers of varying colors. Quantity 19 of the original 220 volt bulbs, the original German manual and documentation. The microscope was designed for East German 220 volts a.c. I replace the European plug with a standard 110 volt. The lights work fine on 110 volts but you will probably want to use replacement 110 vac bulbs for more intensity.

This is a used Nikon TMS inverted binocular brightfield and phase microscope with a photo tube in excellent condition. Cosmetically there are no flaws to mention as all the surfaces are clean and fresh. The optics as well are clear and bright with no spots or haze. Powers up perfectly with the adjustable light intensity working fine. The two ocular are Nikon CFWE 10xA/18. The photo tube has a Nikon H.K. 5x eye piece and there is a single Nikon 10x 0.25na Ph1 DL 160mm objective lens. The nose piece has places for 4 objectives and the empty spots have dust covers. Focus is tight and smooth. There is a slider below the 0.2a condenser containing two phase contrast annuli(ph1 and ph2) and there is a slider with a removable blue filter above.
