Here is a tested. Working HP 8447A Dual Channel.1-400 MHz Bench type RF amplifier in the blue grey dress. I tested it on both channels and found channel 1 to be 2.4 dB low in gain at 400 MHz, so I opened it and found the amp module for that channel had been replaced with a HP module of the same range. I do not think this will hurt the units utility but wanted you to know. The gain plot I made has a 5 dB per division vertical scale and the gain difference is about 1/2 of a division at 400 MHz. Up for sale is a Sprengnether VS-1600 Four Channel Portable Seismograph/ Overpressure Monitor. With S-4500 Triaxial Geophone& General Radio Mic& Preamp. The preamp is model 1972-9600 so the mic is probably a model 1961-9610, though we could not find a model# to verify that, so don't guarantee it. The whole assembly fits into an Aluminum Zero custom case. It is designed for monitoring blasting in mines and is in good used condition. With the expected scuffs, scratches and dings. The power supply and batteries are missing so. Prior to listing, limited testing was performed with a bench power supply, as follows: The triaxial Geophone and the microphone were connected to the appropriate ports using the supplied cables. The bench power supply was connected to the battery terminals and the machine was switched on and set to show battery ... morecharge. The voltage was initially set to 4.5V and a"Low Battery" reading was obtained. Voltage was then increased until the low battery reading disappeared- this happened at 12V. The machine was then set to"Auto" and the geophone was jostled. Readings were observed on the Peak T. Peak V and Peak L channels and no reading was observed on Channel 4. The microphone was then exposed to sound and a reading was observed on Channel 4. The Peak Reset switch was then operated manually and the readings were cleared. At several points during testing the machine attempted to plot the readings- the lights in the printer came on and it attempted to advance paper. As we have no photosensitive paper. We can not guarantee that it prints correctly. However a roll of regular paper was used to confirm that it does advance paper correctly. Only the functionality described as having been verified in testing is guaranteed. So please read the description carefully. As with any used instrument, calibration is not guaranteed. The triaxial geophone alone is worth what we're asking for the whole setup- don't let it get away!

Instron Mini 44 Materials Tester Load Frame LOOK READ
Offered is this Instron Mini 44 Tester. I am not knowledgeable of this unit. So you are the expert, or ask any questions and I will do my best to respond. From the university. Purchased in a large box with manuals and cables for this unit. I did hook it up and while I have no idea how to proceed, it powers up and control panel responds to my button pushing. What you see is what is included. The first picture shows the control panel and load frame. Also included is a proprietary cord between the frame and the controller and a standard power cord. Load frame has a black coiled cord which has a large plug that connects to the controller. As you can see, there is some minor cosmetic damage to the controller, towards the top, near the displays. Does not seem to affect anything and I think reflects damage from moving and storage. Manuals and documentation ... moreare included, as you see in later pics. The load frame is heavy and care will need to be taken in packing. Shipping cost will be appropriate for its size and weight. If you are close, feel free to pickup if you win this auction.
