Vintage 1970s Sears 5 Watt Combo Amplifier - GREAT Sound - Looks Good
Great sounding and good looking vintage late 1970s Sears Model 257 solid state combo guitar amp. The tag on it says 5 watts but it puts out a real world 1-2 watts through a Japan made 6" speaker. Enough to practice or record. It is in fine condition with some overall wear but no major issues or damage. Please take a look at the pictures to see how nice this amp really is. The best thing about it is the SOUND. It really cranks! At low volume it is very clean and makes a guitar sound jazzy. But when you turn it up. It puts out an incredible overdrive. It does not get all raspy or muddled but it does break up real nice. but not exactly metal. You'd still need a pedal for that.
