This is a 1340 pulse Generator General Radio. I bought it at an eastate auction. It does look clean and like it has been taken care of it does have some of the paint on the back of the top that has came off of the alumunum case. I don't know how to test it but I did plug it up and turn it on and the light under where it says Duty Ratio started flashing so I know it is getting power. As I continue to downsize. I have reluctantly decided to sell my trusty 106. I used one of these when designing 2000 Series vertical amplifiers and preferred it to the first generation PG506's because of its cleaner step response. This was designed in the"hybrid" era so it has some tubes which are in good shape. I am including a new pair of 6EW6's and the 7189's were new years ago but have less than 50 hours on them. I have a set of four 7189's currently listed on Ebay. I looked at the outputs before listing it and some photos are included here. I didn't pull out sampling gear and so the fast rise shots are into a 2X pad into my 7A19/7904 combination. Backing out the 7904 rise time, the 106 checks out at 750ps or so which is typical. The wrinkles on the response are primarily 7904 artifacts. The high amplitude ... moreoutput shots are unterminated into a 7A16A and terminated into 50 ohms. This beast will put out more than120 Vp-p from 600 ohms in high amplitude. Besides the tubes you will receive the original manual which is in good condition and a pair of GR874 to BNC adapters for the outputs. S/N 002581.
