This auction is for a Ridgid Tool Catalog Number 775 Yoke Pipe Vise. Capacity from 1/8 to 2 inch. This vise has not seen a lot of use for it's age, which I'm guessing is probably 1970s or 80's. It is in very good working order, screw handle is smooth, moveable jaw yoke flips into place easily, jaws are crisp, no gouges or wear noted. If you plan on threading pipe over 1 inch, this is the tool. The cast steel arm is designed by the engineers at Ridgid to rest on the pipe to offset the torque while turning. Geniuses, ain't they? Weight is around 12 or 14 lbs. Use 15 lbs for shipping calculator. It might run to 14 or 15 bucks depending on where its going. Buyer pays actual shipping. No other charges. This vise is still made by Ridgid because it's so handy, sells new for close to $200. They made this vise out of the same high ... moregrade cast steel as their wrench housings. Please ask any questions in advance of bidding. There ain't a lot to tell though. This is the basic pipefitters tool, and it's fairly compact. We have been using both a chain pipe vise and a yoke vise out on the farm. And truth be known, the yoke configuration will do a lot more serious clamping than the chain. We use ours a lot of times like a bench vise to hold stuff down when busting it apart or otherwise abusing it, and that vise don't bat an eye. We rebuilt a tractor engine once and every bolt that came out of it get rethreaded in the yoke vise. This one will take the same punishment. Tough old tool. I'll throw in a pipe wrench to the winning bidder.

Ridgid 1/8"2" pipe) clamp on yoke type pipe vise. This is a used tool. But it shows very little wear and has been cleaned and painted/clear coated, BUT IT IS NOT ART WORK. The serrations in the jaws are very good as are all the threads. There are some scars and pitting from previous rust, but nothing that will affect performance. It will clamp on to a work surface or beam up to about 4" thick. This high quality USED American made tool should serve you nearly as well, if not as well as a new one. The pivot bolt will be removed to facilitate packaging. All that is required for reassembly is a 9/16" wrench and a small hammer or mallet.
