Here is a heavy Vulcan No. 12 Superior Drop Forged chain pipe vice. This was made by J.H. Williams& Co. in Buffalo N.Y. It has a patd. date March 4. 1915 and Oct 26, 1915. This measures approximately 9" long and 7" wide. This appears to be in good working order. I do not know anything about this so please check out the photos and email me if you have any questions. I have a very nice RARE ANTIQUE VINTAGE COLLECTIBLE J.H. Williams Bench Top Chain Pipe Vise. Drop Forged. It is model no. 1 Vulcan with a working range of 1/8" pipe to 2" pipe. I'm pretty sure it's 1/8" it's a little hard to read- see pictures) This was made in Buffalo NY, USA. This can be mounted to any top with some hardware. It is already mounted to a heavy metal block. The block was engraved by my great-great uncle with his name, JOE MOSCHINI and with the date MARCH 26 1945. Posted with
