Parker Number 32 VISE VICE Machinist Bench 3 1/4" wide jaws This would be a very nice vise to restore. Collect. There is some scaring on the sides and top of the jaws from sawing. There are small nicks and dings as can be seen in the pictures. One jaw near the bottom looks different from the other(not as tall) I am not sure if it was made this way or it is worn. The screw and nut are in nice shape. There are no breaks. Cracks, or repairs. No welds. It is 14" long. 6 1/4" wide, 6 1/4" high. I think 4 1/4" would be the max this vise could clamp. VINTAGE CRAFTSMAN VISE - 7" WIDE JAWS - quick release - PRICED 2 SELL
Purchased at an estate sale and just wanting to pass it along. The Craftsman vice is in working order and has a quick release feature which also works well. the main issue is the end of the oak wood handle was cracked and the previous owner applied tape to hold it together. It still holds. The clamps are 7" across and one side was protected with wood while the other side was left to plain metal. Could use some grease or oil to properly use the item. It opens and closes with no issues but grease would make the item spin out of control[ joke] priced to sell and the freight is on me. I use FedEx ground so a post office box will not work. ESTATE FIND For sale is a vintage Hollands#14 bench vise. The 1 indicates a fixed/non-swivel base and the 4 indicated a 4 inch wide jaw. This vise was likely made in the 1940's and weighs about 45 pounds. This vise is in"as found" condition and would certainly benefit from a good cleaning and lube job. The vise is in good operating condition and the metal integrity is good with no cracks. Although the crank handle is missing(easily replaced by the new owner) the spindle turns easily by hand. Even in an uncleaned state. As you can see in the pics this is a used vise with bumps and scratches but it is smooth and tight when closed. See pics for further details.
