The pictures tell the story. This Technipower W5MT3A autotransformer or"variac" is in excellent condition. It has been fully tested and works flawlessly with very good calibration of both meters. The only flaws are slight shelf wear on the feet and a smudge or two that I didn't bother to scrub too vigorously but otherwise it's pretty much good as new. Save for the fact that I don't have the original packaging. Please check my feedback and bid with confidence that you're dealing with a straight shooter. Buyer pays actual shipping costs for 15 pounds from zip code 95501. There will be no extra handling fee but trust that the unit will be very well packed. My husband had it wired to use standard wall plug in on dedicated circuit and the other end attached to a large kiln. I sold kiln before finding the transformer. So I can only assume it still works. Appears clean, dial spins smoothly, with only normal use and age chipping.
